How long have you had to plan your wedding?

As it says how long have you had to plan your wedding?

Were getting engaged sometime in the next year and married with in 4 years.

I know this is plenty of time but im being nosey.

technically 1 year, we booked it literally a year before the day we fly. we got engaged in feb 2007, and was planning (whilst ttc) a big wedding here, then my bfp in oct 2007, so that went out the window, and in august 2008 we decided we wanted our disney wedding, maddi kinda changed us! but nan died, and everything kinda went out the window, then august 2009 we started thinking about it, and mum said we can book it for september 2010 - my dream date! and here we are!

We've been engaged for a while but technically, if we book next week for Sep next yr then it'll be 10 months

we booked the church about 13 months before our decided date, it was the first thing we did, i then didnt do any other planning until 7 months before and that was pleanty of time for us

We've been engaged since May 08 and it's not happening until August 2012 so we've got a 2 1/2 years to sort it.

It alldepends on what recepion hes wanting. If hes going to be happy with a buffet and a disco in a hall i can price that up in my head. If hes wanting something posher, im stumped

We got engaged in September this year, booked our venue in October and get married next November so 13 months

me and my hubby got engaged oct 2006 at the time we were living in scotland but wanted to get married in grimsby in england where all our family was. we booked the church oct 2006 and got married august 2007 but because we were 500 miles away we couldnt do much so i did it all in a week whilst we were in grimsby for our engagement party so technically i did it in a week but there was 10 months between setting the date and getting married

3 weeks for the first time, 5 weeks for the second. (Got married legally first time, second time was religiously, the first time I wasn't well enough to have what we wanted.)

Admittedly though, the first time took as long (ha!) cause we were waiting for the banns, we got married the day after the paperwork was cleared.

we got engaged in august, picked the venue and set the date in september and are getting married in june

Lol we got engaged 13th October this year, and will be married on the 23rd Jan 2010!!!!!!! So a total of 3 months and 10 days to plan!
