How many bottles does your LO have in 24 hours??

How many bottles does your LO have in 24 hours...its just today i saw the health visitor and i told her that for his 4th bottle i usually have to wake him up at the same time everyday...she told me that its not really necessary as he would wake up if he was hungry however i told her if that was the case he would on have 3 bottles and her reply was to fit in a 4th bottle somewhere during the day...surely thats not right...i cant just feed him for the sake of feeding him...i usually space the hours out equally and i think for his age 4 bottles is just right and 3 is too less and when i do wake him up he is starving...what do you guys think?? I might be wrong but i feel happy with 4 bottles and he appears happy with 4 bottles? xx

my LO has either 5 or 6 bottles depending on how hungry she is

6 or 7 depending how hungry she is, and they're 5-6oz she's a chub!

Hannah has 7-8, 3 to 4 ounce bottles in a 24 hour period. But she is younger than your LO

Maya is on about 6 3-4oz bottles

I think my lo was on 6 at that age then 5 and was on 4 by 5-6 months and only dropped the fourth bottle when she refused it at 7 months

Id say 6 personally, roughly.. but demand feeding seems best when they're so young. Id try to aim for a bottle every 4 hours roughly, but theres no point forcing it.

Jack has about 6/7 bottles a day of 5-6oz each. He also has some solids inbetween the milk feeds (afterwards). He feeds every 3 hrs during the day, and wakes once during the night for a feed (which he had stopped doing)

Colton still eats roughly every 3-4 hours. He eats 5-6oz per bottle.

roughly 5/6 during the day for our LO, 6oz each, i try to do it every 4 hours and then i have found she sleeps through the night. if she's asleep then i don't wake her, and do feed on demand, this seems to be her routine. but if your doing what works for you (and by the sounds of it, it does work for you as you said your LO is hungry when woken) i would continue to do what works best for your LO
