How many cloth diapers?

I will take pics when i have some time. My 3 kids are driving me wild today lol
Ok so my youngest is 3 and we cloth diapered him. He wears disposables out of the house. but at home hes naked most of the time.
Anyway, when i was pregnant with him i bought like 6 snap bumgenius ( i hate them ) 5-6 pocket diapers from Hyena cart, a bunch of velcro thristie dou covers and 1 snap thirstie dou cover. a bunch of newborn prefolds... 1 newborn kissaluv, its like super soft. i cant remember the name. i have a bucket full of the cloth diapers. Im sure its not enough. the bumgenius have been used a bunch and i hate them. they stink all the time.

i am having a girl this time and in a time where cloth diapers are more popular lol. I have a list of WAHM that i want to buy from. But im trying to figure out if any cloth diaper is okay like fitteds, AI2, AIO, Pockets are all okay or should i buy a certain kind to last me more? i just cant choose, i want them all!

Its actually better to get a mix of kinds - both types (AIO, fitted, pocket etc) as well as brands as what works great for some might not work for others as all babies are different shapes. Have fun shopping

A variety is good to have, but fitteds or flats with covers are the most reliable across all shapes and ages of baby, so if you're looking for nappies that will most likely work and last throughout the time in nappies, I'd get mostly fitteds or flats.

If your BGs stink, it sounds like you're not washing them properly so it might be worth reading up about that.

I just use 7 covers and I have about 40 microfiber inserts. I just go 30 bamboo inserts because I didn't like how thick the microfiber is. I find covers easier to use and take up less room. I love going out and just having to bring a couple inserts rather than a stack of pocket diapers.
