I think my dd is trying to transition to 2 naps per day instead of 3 now.

How many naps are your 6 month olds having? It seems early to drop to 2 naps per day I think 😕

Hey, I just went to a class about this. They say at 6 months baby should be having two good 1+ hour naps a day with one short 15 minutes nap in between. They should be able to stay awake for 2 and half hours between naps! My little girl is only three months and has about 5 naps a day. If your little one is only having short naps, 30 minutes or less then they are more likely to have more naps during the day. if this is the case then try putting little one in a dark quiet place so they sleep longer. The want you to take the short 15 minute nap out if you can, that is only in place if your baby really needs it. Your little one seems like she is right on track!!

my baby was having 1 60 minute nap and 1 30 minute nap at 6 months, maybe once a week a good 2 hour nap.

Mine has three naps a day. The first one is around 45 minutes, the second one can go anywhere between one and two hours, and the third one is very short, usually only about 30 minutes.

Mine did 3, and went on to do 2 at about 8 to 9 months

We're still on the same nap schedule at 8 months as we were at 6. 3 naps a day, the first is around 30-45 minutes at 9am. He goes down at 1 and could easily do 2hrs but I wake him up just after 2pm. Then he has a 15-25 minute nap in the car at 5/6pm on our way home.

My first dropped to 2 naps at 5 months my second was still on 3 dropping to 2 around 7/8 months. Go with your baby I tried to keep my eldest on 3 for longer as I thought he was too young to drop and we all ended up miserable and frustrated until I followed his lead.

My now 10 month old was on 3 a day at 6 months (all very short, 20mins or so)
At 8.5 months she dropped to two, and still now has a 20 minute morning nap and a longer 1-2hr afternoon nap. Bedtime is between 6/7pm and she is up at 6am usually

My nearly 6 month old (did I really just say 6 months old already?!) Has started having 2 naps a day. Depending on where he's napping they can be anywhere from 20 minutes - 3 hours long. He might have the odd cat nap in his car seat but nothing significant other than those 2.
