How many of you work?

I work anywhere from 20 to 28 hours a week in 8 hr shifts with 7:40 an hr pay i dont get paid maternity leave and not sure how many weeks i can have off but i have to work til the baby comes cause even though my OH works to we dont have enough money we can barely save for a house

I wanted to pick up an extra job and got an interview at this place.. they made it sound like I'd probably get it and I did really well at my interview.. this is the "walmart" of NZ. But right at the end of the interview I had to admit I was pregnant, even though it is a contract and my baby would be due ages after the contract was up.. and they wrote something big down on my slip and ushered me out of the room..

I have a high school diploma which is more than most of the people working there and work experience.. although they'd never admit they didn't hire me because I'm pregnant because they can get in trouble for that but it made me so angry.. it sucks that being pregnant is such a huge strike against you.. I need the money!
