I don't see the point in paying out a load of money I haven't got for a tonne of presents that Grace probably won't play with. But I'm trying to think of a reasonable amount. She is going to be getting toys and stuff from all my family and I haven't really got that much space. I was thinking £150? How much have you spent or are you going to spend on your LO? And do you think £150 is too much/not enough?

I spent too much but me and Rich have decided this is the last Christmas we can afford to spoil her so have brought her quite a few big things that will last her a few years. She has her bedroom furniture too. I guess when we get to the end of everything this month we'll have spent £800-£1,000 but atleast half is her toddler bedroom stuff and clothes in the next size  I know I've spent too much and I do feel bad but it's a compulsion.

£150 is plenty, more than enough! x

£150 is perfect IMO. We've spent about £350-400 but thats getting split for her birthday too and we've went a bit overboard :(

I've spent about £170 on Josh, and prob won't go over £200. Even if I couldt afford to I probably wouldn't, I don't see the point on buying everything I want to get for him when theres loads of family that want to buy him presents

I think £150 is a good budget, we have spent around £500 but thats for her birthday too, Seems a lot now I think if it as she will probably prefer the wrapping paper and boxes to the actual presents. :haha:
xx

That sounds about right to me, maybe even a bit too much unless you're including clothes.

I've probably spent that on the older 3 but I won't be spending much on Erin. It seems pointless as we have soooooooo much stuff from the others, there's no clothes she needs and I can't see any toys for her in the shops that we've not already got:dohh:. Obviously we'll have to get her something but I have no idea what:shrug:

We're spending about £100-£150 :) And i'm glad were not spending anymore.
We havnt got te money to spend loads and she'll have plenty of pressies from family and friends, dont want her growing up spoilt. I know how easy it is though to get carried away!

I had to convert it to Canadian. LOL It is equal to $265 CAD and quite truthfully, that's plenty.

So far Chase's gifts have totalled $192 CAD and I won't be getting him much more...maybe one more toy and some clothes.

We're not spending alot, purely because he hardly plays with the toys he has now.. he'd rather have our stuff. :)

My original budget for Daisy was £150, more for Gemma because you cant get much for teenager for £150

But I am ashamed to admit, without realising I had spent so much till I added it up last week, I have spent about £400 on Daisy and £500 on Gemma.
and I still have sweets and Pjs to get.

I honestly didn't realise I had spent that much, but have been buying stuff every week since September.

Gemmas birthday is in February so i might keep a few things back for then, and just keep a few of Daisy's back to give her through the first part of next year to keep her interested, because its like you say, she probably wont play with half of it xxx

we doing 150-200 :) one big pressie and few small things she needs I really dont want to spend more than that either so if I can keep never the 100-150 mark ad be more than pleased lol

We've been keeping one of those Baby Fund Pot of Dream things for Max, putting any change in since June...cracked it open last week and counted up £100 :happydance: So thats going on his Xmas gifts, he had his birthday in September, so we're still discovering new toys from then!

I think £150 sounds great!

xx

were spending about £50 on River but she will only be 3 months so doesn't need much

we have managed to pursuade the inlaws to get her a precious planets jumperoo which saves us money lol

I've spent about £100 on Jack (3 presents) and thats all he is getting because he has far too much stuff that he doesn't play with and he will be getting loads from family. Will probably get him some clothes in the sales.

We are going to spend about $200-250 US on Hayden....for Landon and Casen we'll spend $300-400US each

I seem to spend a mad amount on Tabs i think it will be at least £500 but i got her nappies and really nice clothes rather than toys as i cant fit anymore in the house :dohh: I'm totally ashamed about how much i spend...as we spend like £30 on our parents

I think i have spent about £350 alltogether! For both girls ! I have bargain shopped everything , most things were half price!

I usually do £100 each as i have the craziest family who will buy presents in the truck load

Im really happy with what i have got though :) Cannot wait until they open them :happydance:

i think £150 is a good amount. we've spent far too much, probably around £300 on callum, but some of that is for his birthday too and around the same on nicole.

We won't be spending more than about £50 on Aaron for Christmas AND his birthday, so £150 sounds plenty to me!
