we are spending £150 and no more.
most of my family usually just give money so i have asked for it early so i can buy him a present with it.
so hes getting everything i want him to have, sounds cheeky but thats just me.

hes having a few main presents
electric quad bike £80
coat £18
hoover £12
aqua draw £10

then just getting a few little bits for his stocking.

from my family hes getting
a drum kit, only a cheap £15 one
a laptop
a furreal puppy
a car garage.

£150 will be plenty enough.
im trying to get cheap presents so he has more to open.
x

I've spent about £200 on Hallie but it was £400 worth of stuff as everything i wanted was half price early October! :happydance:

Then she has a £215 Christmas Day outfit & £80 Boxing Day outfit

Just need to get her little stuff for her stocking and a table & chairs for £45.

We have spent about £80 on Harri and about £40 on James. Both me and OH have large families so James will be very spoilt. And Harri also has his mum's family to buy him presents so he will have about a million presents lol. Havn't spent a great deal on James because he will only be 10 weeks old so isn't really going to know much about it. Think its more for my benefit lol.

Im spending about 150 no more on Jack. he isnt getting many toys as last year he hardly used them! Loads of clothes this year x:D

I wanted to stick to £150 but its ended up being between £250-£300...no way am i spending anymore...last years pressies still remian new! x

Think we've spent about £150-200 on Theakston including clothes, books, and everything he'll need development toy wise from 3months + and 6months +

We've spent about £400 but I didn't really notice because I didn't get it all at once.

 you've all spent loads-I feel like a right scrooge now!!

Iv spent no more than £55 on Brooke-and she got loads for that!!

4 books, 4 pairs of podgies, a fleecy walker dressing gown, a red wooden walker with blocks in it, bath toys, a CD and a few other bits I cant think of right now.

I have NO idea where Id put £150 worth of stuff in my little house!

We've only spent about £50, but will prob buy some clothes too. Some other family members are buying her bigger things eg a bounce and spin zebra, smart trike, so I feel a bit of a scrooge too!

We've spent around $70 on Kathryn, all clothes and we've got tons of clothes for that (I'll only buy them on sale!) She'll get toys from the grandparents and she wont even remember this x-mas. $70 is already a little more then we can afford, but DH and I just said we wont get presents for each other, there's nothing we want/need this year and we're having a baby just a week before!

we probably spent around $200 Canadian total on Hannah

So far I've spent £120, I may get abit more. But we are buying a few toys for when hes 6+ months.

I haven't really got much for that amount £60 is clothes :dohh:

But my mum has got him loads (first grandchild lol) she bought him his Precious planet jumperoo and loads of toys. Plus we both have large families so he will have loads so I dont need to go crazy.

My DH is always adamant that we don't spend over £60 each on the kids. However, he's put me incharge of Christmas present shopping this year (:mwaha:) so I've already gone overboard:blush:

I could spend thousands on Ella our three year old. She's just gotten to the age where she's getting into going to her room and playing with her dolly's for hours so I've already got her 2 baby dolls (I fear I've made a mistake here as both of them scream:wacko:) and a dolls house. There's still loads more I could get her.

Our two year old I'm the most stuck on. All he likes are cars but tbh there's only so many cars and garages you can buy a toddler:shrug:. So we decided on a disney cars tv and the rest I'm still thinking on.

Ozzie is still very little. I'm getting him a new gym as we only have the other twos old one that they pulled all the toys off of. I'm going to get him some clothes and rattles also so he'll probably have the biggest quantity of presents but in reality he will have less spent on him because he'll get more throughout the year (clothes, nappies etc)

So all in all I'm estimating that currently our 3 year old will have £200-£250, our toddler £180-£200 and Ozzie will have £100ish. I'd better not show this post to my DH... EVER

I had to convert it to Canadian. LOL It is equal to $265 CAD and quite truthfully, that's plenty.

So far Chase's gifts have totalled $192 CAD and I won't be getting him much more...maybe one more toy and some clothes.
I always see it like that most "industrialized " countries have about the same cost for stuff. Like a ipod costs the same in the US as in Europe as in the UK basically just applied to their currency. It was the same when the euro was weaker than the dollar and it is still like that basically . Or what I like to say, If you earn 500 of your currency , you can spend 500 of your currency, if you earn 500 of a currency in another country than it will be either quite a bit more expensive or quite a bit cheaper.

I've only made a little start to my Christmas shopping.Lol. I did intend to buy mainly clothes as Ellie had a growth spurt in october and nothing fitted her,but i've practically brought everything in Next so that idea has gone out the window.I was really struggling with ideas of what to get her until last week when i sat down one evening and browsed through toysrus, mothercare etc.I made a huge list and was dreading the total, but when i added it up it came to just over £350. We probably won't get all of it though. My OH bought her a dolls house last month on payday(was going to be for christmas but he couldn't wait) so we are planning on kitting that out which is going to cost £15 per room from Elc. :( Then the rest is just on toys that will last a while, like a doll and pram etc. She's very girly already and will sit quietly for ages playing with her fifi cottage and she loves to play with her little doll, she gives it juice and her dummy etc.So i thought things like that would last ages.It sounds like a lot,but we didn't get much last year,or for her birthday so i want to make up for it.Lol :)

mine will only be about 4 weeks old so all i will be buying is a cute santa outfit (for me more than him really!) and a stocking for his cot with a few rattles probably. i don;t really have money to spend but i know my mum is buying him a baby gym and her boyfriend is getting vouchers for the early learning center so i will be able to choose something for him :)

I set charlie a 200 pound limit, Not buying any clothes or anything because i buy him clothes all the time as it is plus he has way to many which are too big for him, and tbh iv struggled to spend it! very unlike me i spend money like its going out of fashion normaly! but i just havnt been able too do it! alot of the problem is he already has alot of things plus things like toddler bed ect i dont really see as christmas pressies so he'll get them but not for christmas! i wanted a tampoline for him a bigish one but i didnt see much point when its cold out side i'll just get him one in the summer! so yeah imo 150 is just a nice amount charlie has alot of pressies and iv spent about 170 on him, if i went too the full 200 limit he would have too much x

I think thats plenty, i feel bad phoebe has only had about £80 off me, but from me and other people she is going to end up with toys, quad, a play kitchen a paino. If i could afford to spend more if im honest i dont think i would, i think she has enough and the money could be spent on other things. So yes i think its more than enough and think she will have plenty.

I think ive spent coming up for £300 now BUT thats for birthday and christmas combined.

Tbh i dont feel like ive gotten enough once i split the pile into two, but i know my mum has spent well over £100 on her too so that aswell as presents from other family it will seem like a lot more

Well this year i haven't spent much at all maybe £100?

She gets an awful lot from family members though so i don't like to buy her many toys.
