How much does your 6mo drink please?

LO is 6mo, and I reckon she probably weighs 14lb, although this is a guess because I haven't been able to go to weigh clinic for a few weeks as it clashes with her swimming lessons. But following her centile, she should be around the 14lb mark.

Please can you tell me how much your LO weighs, and what amount they drink per 24 hours?

I'm worried my LO doesnt take enough. I add it up every day. This is what it has been per day recently...

700ml, 695ml, 640ml, 775ml, 840ml, 760ml, 655ml, 805ml, 730ml, 790ml, 630ml, 755ml, 720ml, 640ml

Its quite hard work to get this down her. I don't force feed her, but I do offer, re-offer and re-offer the bottle at each sitting.

Im worried that pretty soon Im going to have to start weaning and this will reduce her appetite for milk and not convinced she really has enough milk as it is

I can tell you that my 5 month old is drinking 828 ml consistently every day. I was told by the doctor it is 2.5 ounces of formula per pound of baby's weight.

Babies are different. If you are really trying to feed more and LO is not taking it, there is nothing you can do. Have you started on solids?

How much does your LO weigh?

No, no solids yet. I want to as I'm excited! But I don't think LO's milk intake is high enough to stand a reduction in her appetite for milk. Was curious to know how much others have. Hoping for reassurance TBH.
