My DD was 10 weeks old yesterday, I give her cow & gate comfort, and she is now drinking 5oz about every three hours.She goes to bed about 9.30pm, has a dreamfeed of about 1-2oz when we go to bed about 11pm, then she gets up at roughly 6am, has 5oz, and then usually falls asleep for couple more hours! xxx

Mika takes at least five 8 oz bottles a day, but every now and then eats one or two bottles more. He's 5 months old and also eats between 1/4 and 1/2 a jar of baby food a day. He's not real fond of solids.

Isaac is 15 weeks and has 5 x 8oz hungry baby milk!!! Most of the time he drains them as well and wants more!!

Damien is 16 weeks today and takes 5oz every 2 hours (practially on the dot) once hes woken up at 6.30am, and he doesnt go to sleep for the night till 9pm. I wish i could get him to take more in each bottle so the feeds would be spaced out but he refuses to co-operate, haha! Ahh!

between 3 and 5 weeks she was having 4oz every 3 hours. Then by 5 weeks she was on 5oz every 3 hours. Then by 8 weeks she was on 8oz less than 3 hourly. So i moved to hungry baby and she took 6oz every 3 hours. This continued to 4 months and since then does 7oz every 4 hours.

my LO is only 4weeks which the box of formula says like 3-4oz but he is 11lb 7oz already which the box says 8-12weeks 5/6oz.

should i go by weight not age?

Ollie is just over 15 weeks and he takes 4 bottles a day his morning and bedtime are 9oz and his 2 in the middle are 8oz he drains them all he's on comfort formula he sleeps from about 9pm to 8am xx

Agreed! Evie has only just started having the amount stated on the box for her age (3 7oz bottles per day) and she's 8 and a half months old lol!

It's just a guideline, but we all know that babies are different in every way, and that includes their appetites

I don't fit in here...lol but I just started giving my lo bottles again (she refused and I was too lazy to pump) and all she drinks is 3-4oz. I don't want to stretch her tummy or anything where I am still breastfeeding almost every feed etc...and she is content on that, but from me she is probably taking the average 5-6oz She isn't huge either, she is around 15-16lbs at over 7 months. She was always small and never did like taking a lot of EBM at once in a bottle. At two months she was drinking 75ml and sleeping through the night. She is going to be small like daddy lol
