How often should my 2 month old be feeding

My 2 month old son is drinking 5-6oz of formula every 3 hours. He sometimes goes 4 hours in the night. I was told he should be drinking every 4.5 hours. He weighs 12lb 10oz. How often should he be feeding or is this normal?

i think its totally normal and whoever told you he should be drinking every 4.5 hours is obviously unaware that all babies are different! if your lo is happy with their feeds i would say it is fine, the nightime feeds should start to stretch out a bit soon x
