When I say wake up I mean wake up and cry or stir regardless of whether you go in and settle them or not? And how old are they?
Many thanks

Madi rarely wakes. Shes always been a good sleeper. If she wakes, its for a reason. Juice/need a wee/poorly. Shes nearly 3.

Her baby brother whos 9 months on the other hand wakes all night long, for no reason what so ever!

Callum has been sleeping through the night since 6 months, he rarely wakes up in the night, only if hes poorly and needs comforting, hes 14 months xx

DD has been sleeping thru through the night since 3 months and still does :)

She's 21 months and wakes every few weeks and will need to come in with me to settle back down. But just recently, she sleep cries or calls out maybe 4 nights a week where you think she's waking up but is obviously just having a dream and settles back down.

My lo is jus shy of one and wakes up more times than i care to remember!

I must repress the memories by mornin! Lol

1-2 times a week William will wake up in the night - either asking fir a cuddle after a bad dream or for me to untangle and sort out his duvet! Normally in and out within 2 mins and he falls back to sleep fine, even if it's 5:30....always worried he'll want to get up if he wakes that sort of time!

He's just turned 2 but didn't sleep through til 18 months xxx

My LO slept through from 10 weeks and then at 11 months it all went wrong.

He now wakes once every night :coffee: He is 21 months :flower:

15 months old and wakes 1-2 times a night!

He's never STTN, has just always woken up, just recently started STTN a few days ago

My dd wakes at least twice a night and needs one of us to help her settle back to sleep - even though she goes to bed awake and gets herself to sleep after her breastfeed. She is almost 16 months - last night it was every hour from midnight till 6am!!! x

By a lot of your responses Im starting to wonder if I'm doing something wrong or if here's something wrong with maggie, because she has always stired a lot and moved about her cot but more recently she's been waking up and crying loads, I've been giving her milk to comfort her but tonight I'm not going in ans she just keeps waking up. Like I said she's never been a solid sleeper, i just wish I knew why?

Omar used to sleep through for 12 hours since he was 12 weeks. Then after his birthday he started to wake up everynight once & sometimes more. he used to stay awake for few mins up to 4-5 hrs. Sometimes he wakes up for milk other times to play.

he started to sleep through again 4 days back for 9-11 hours without waking up in between.

Only once or twice now and he is 20months! This is a massive improvement and he can settle himself to sleep now its all happened recently and he has changed his routine a few times since he was born but always bounced back to 9.30pm-9am even if its taken a month or so being up and down for whatever reason. He still has a bf at 4.30am and he is back to sleep in about 5mins or less I'm sure he will drop that in his own time too as the feed is so short now. We co-sleep and I always fed him milk to sleep but he still learned to fall asleep on his own in his own time I htought it's never happen! xx

Sometimes she sleeps all night, other times she wakes 10 or more times. I thought it was food related but today she's barely eaten and hasn't woken yet.. Touch wood

He usually stirs or cries out (in his sleep?) once or twice a night but settles back to sleep again quickly. Sometimes he is awake for 10 to 15 minutes chatting to himself (probably once or twice a week) and occasionally he is awake chatting to himself for up to half an hour. He very rarely needs us to come into him, only really when he is unwell.

My LO is 22 months and sleeps through unless he's sick. But he would wake to BF at 4am every night until he was 17 months. When he was under a year he woke 2x/night.

Cormac at 15 months sleeps through the night unless he is woken up by Tiarnan, at which time I just lay him back down and leave him to settle back to sleep. Tiarnan on the other had at almost 4 wakes 2 or 3 times a week. Most generally it's due to a bad dream or needing to use the restroom. He usually just comes in to our room and wakes me up, wanting to climb in with us. Depending on how awake I am at that moment decides whether or not he is successful. :haha:

Kelana wakes a couple times, but I cosleep, so unless she is distressed, I am pretty much asleep too...and I will just wake up with my nighty up, meaning she must have breastfed at some point. My other two co-slept as well. Jasper stopped waking in the night when he weaned at 20mths old. He has never woken up since, except a couple pee accidents in there when he was much younger, or when sick. Makena had sleep issues related to her autism, so even though she slept better when she was weaned at 19mths, she never slept through the night, ever, until about 4 years old, and now, at almost 7 years, it is quite common for her to wake up (last night she woke up at 2am screaming for daddy). Kelana, I think, will be a good sleeper, once she is weaned, but I am in no hurry to wean as she is my last baby, and my goal is to BF to 24mths. I know it probably seems like you will never get a good nights sleep again, but you will...and before you know it, your kids will be sleeping through the night, and if you are crazy like me...you will wish yourself back to those moments.

my son hardly ever wakes up ,sleeps 8til8 , hasnt always been like this tho, maybe the past 7mth x

Anna is 20 months - she sleeps from 8.30-8.30

She will stir once or twice in the night which will wake one of us up and we pop the dummy in. She doesnt actually wake up herself. She has never been fed during the night since around 4 or 5 months old.

She has bad nights when she is ill - like all toddlers do.
