How quick after a c section can u get pregnant again?

I was also advised to wait at least 6 months, preferably 18-24m, as it can take 2 years for your body to restore itself after a pregnancy. My son died at 13 hours old, so we were quite eager to try again soon. After my 6 month check up with my consultant, he gave us the all clear to try again, and i was pregnant the next month. At the moment, he'll consider a vbac, but wants to see how things go and how my scar copes with the pregnancy.
