Umm I think it has to be the number pad not the numbers above the letters.

yep like your sig donna - for us, its when you change the function, so the little numbers above the letters become active if that makes sense, because i'm on a new laptop so no number pad either x

I've just seen on Yahoo Answers another good way to do this if you're using a laptop. If you click start, then all programs, then accessories, then system tools, and finally character map it has loads on there. You then click on the characters you want, click copy and right click and paste in the text box...hope that helps...and that this makes sense haha. I have no idea if you can do this on anything other than vista though as I have vista on my laptop x
