hi all,

does anyone have a lo who won't finish the bottle when it goes cold? my lo can sometimes take a while to drink his bottle, likes to takes rests inbetween, but when it goes cold he won't drink it but he still wants more! i thought i'd seen sleeves you can put around the bottle to keep it warmer while feeding does anyone know if these are any good?

thankyou x

for the last few days iv been making bottles with the method of adding so much boiled water and putting on side and when she needs her feed adding the extra ozs of boiled water and powder.i tend to also fill a jug of boiling water to as my daughter is like this so save it going cold i just keep popping it in the jug untill she wants to finish it..
dont know if this is ok..but works for us and she is fine
xx

I'm not sure about the sleeve things, but I would think so. Maybe get some cheap ones and try them out. Before reading the rest of your post I was thinking about those beer ones lol ;)

The special care staff in the hosp used to keep a jug of HOT water to keep dropping it in.. that particular baby would only drink milk REALLY warm. I don't know if this is classed as rewarming, but if trained nurses are happy with it, I would be.
