Hsg did it hurt???

HI I HAVE MY HSG ON 8TH FEB- JUST WONDERING IF IT HURT FOR ANY OF YOU? I KNOW TO TAKE PAIN KILLERS HALF AN HOUR BEFORE...

AND CAN YOU HAVE SEX ON THE DAY YOU COME HOME? AS WE HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO SINCE THE 24TH AS THE DECIDED TO SHOW THEN SO UNTIL THE 8TH THERE IS NO ACTION... JUST THINKING THERE WONT BE MUCH HOPE OF A THIS MONTH OR IS THERE A CHANCE?

ANY HELP PLEASE OR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE.... XX

I had mine a few weeks ago and didn't get any pains or cramps at all.

But we were told not to TTC until after my next period. Apparently there is a risk of infection and problems because of the dye that they use.
