Yes it does need a wrap but I don't know which ones will fit over it, we bought it but never used it - it was at the bottom of the pile and we never got round to using it.

No problem, think I will leave that one as don't want to end up having to buy more wraps to fit it.

If you have flip covered it seems to fit over the lollipop (I just tried it!)
