Good morning ladies. I am going to cross post this on several HG groups, so I apologize if you see it multiple times. But I feel it is important to share, so I want to get the word out. I am going to the high risk doctor today, and one of the things we are going to discuss is going on mirtazapine (remeron, remergil) for hyperemesis for the remainder of my pregnancy. I printed out every study I could find to strengthen my case for why I want it. I was on it for an unrelated reason in my first pregnancy and I only had 2 weeks of nausea and vomited only 2-3 times my entire pregnancy. I am convinced the mirtazapine is the reason I didn't get sick. I am sharing this so that I can update you on whether i am able to get it, and if I do, how effective it is so that you can try it if you like. I want to share any possible solution. I was planning to wait until 14 weeks to try it but I can't wait any longer. I need a solution now, and want to avoid a zofran pump, which is the current forecast for the next solution they offer. Please let me know if you have any questions, and I will update the comments on this with my progress. Best of luck ladies, lets pray this works.
