I feel like my body does not and will not go into labor its self :/

I have no signs of labor what so ever and my due date is 3 days away!

Never had a contraction this entire pregnancy...
no bloody show... I am not even dilated to 1cm yet!
No aches n pains... I feel great and normal other than very bad insomnia! Which is not even a sign of labor

My doctor said labor can " just happen" out of no where, has this happened to anyone? I find it weird that I can be like I am now then tomorrow or hours later I can just go into labor so fast!

yes labour was very spontaneous for me last time, i just started one morning...

i feel ur pain though as im now 5 days overdue and feel like the baby is never going to come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i feel like that.i no im a bit behind you. But have nothing but insomnia and my bh have in creased. No pain or discomfort. Im hopin to vbac this time. But only can if i go naturally. Just keep thinkin i could of opted for a section and have her hear in a week. Instead im hopin to go naturally and could end with a c anyway

I feel your pain too... I'm due in 2 days with no signs at all... Not one!
Glad you posted this so I can see what others say as I just feel as though she'll be in there forever

If he doesnt come by monday my doctor is scheduling me to be induced wednesday night and have him thurs! i just wish i could go thru labor naturally but i dont think that is gonna happen!! ah

I feel your pain, I'm due today and nothing - no plug/show/bh's! I've only ever had one BH at about week 20 since then nothing at all. I'm really wanting to beat an induction and refused a sweep yesterday, but agreed to one next week - although I don't want to as my midwife has changed and the new one is utterly hopeless, I don't want her hands anywhere near me to be honest

I feel the same - 9 days left and nothing. He's not even engaged yet! BH have stopped, occasional period pains but these have stopped, no sign of a show - nothing. I have an induction date for 19th, but if he's not even engaged, that won't work. I so didn't want a C sect as LO has to go to special care for monitoring and I won't be able to go after a section, but if the induction fails, thats what will happen. I could cry.....

i had a similar question in a thread the other day as i havent had no symptoms and im due today and loads of ladys messaged back and said they just randomly whent into labour with no prior warning at all the contractions just came on full wack withthe blink of an eye
so hears to wishful thinking lol nothing else bloody works haha

Haha I keep wearing my god awful, falling apart at the seams knickers thinking sods law will push me into labour whilst I'm wearing them

With DD I had absolutely nothing but insomnia until 40+1 at which point I had a tiny bit of a show and then went into labour at 40+5. At 40 weeks my cervix was checked and found to be high, closed and unfavourable. Still had a natural labour within a week though.

I am also feeling your pain. I am only three days overdue but starting to feel I will never have this baby!
