Hi Ladies

How is everyone?

Well i need to lose 4 stone to get my bmi under 30. Hopefully if i am successfull i will get my BFP naturally, if not then i will get presribed clomid.

So i lost 10lb :-) but then this week, i was off work for a week, that was it, i just started picking at loads of stuff and sweets etc. So i have now put 1lb back on.
I know it doesnt seem much, but i need a slap and reminding the only way i am going to get my baby is too lose weight.

ARGH FRUSTRATING

BABY DUST TO EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!

Chick, good luck and you will get there xx

1lb isn't too bad. I had a friend who was heavily overweight and it didn't seem to stop her getting pregnant. Just keep going with it, it'll make you feel better in yourself. I'm going to start Slimming World next week. I'm not overweight, well if I am its a couple of pound, but I am at the top of the acceptable weight for my height. I just don't feel good about myself or attractive anymore. TTC has kinda had me concentrating on a baby when I should be getting my body in shape for me (and babba)

I think the best way to approach it is to remember that if you have a bad day/moment/week/whatever, just get back on the right path as soon as you realize it. Don't just give up because you had a weak moment ok? :)

I was just talking about this with my mom. I'm really really working on remembering that baby steps are still important steps to make. I look back at what I would have done/been eating last year, and even on my bad days, I'm doing SOOO much better then last year and that's a great thing to realize!

Awww hun, I know the feeling here! What you have to do is put this behind you and get back on the wagon. What I have done is got rid of all the 'bad' stuff that is in the house and got heathier snacks in place so if I have the urge to pick, I will get something healthy and nice to munch on. This is not always the case as I am on the Cambridge Weight Plan and don't have that much food. If you ever need any support, you can always inbox me and I will always give you a boost! I need them all the time so you may help me here too and we can get our BMIs under 30 and hopefully have the child we want to love and cherish! Baby dust to all! xx

What I have learned about sweets while dieting is that you shouldn't totally give them up, makes you more likely to binge, but to have them in limited amounts. You could also trade those notoriously high calorie/fat sweets for reduced calorie ones, such as chocolate covered raisins, Skinny Cow ice cream bars (which are great), and Twinkies (only 150 calories).

Yeah I definitely agree! My endocrinologist does as well. She basically said to me "DON'T try to quit anything cold turkey. Make baby steps to your goal and keep moving things in the right direction. If you go cold turkey it will become a chore - very unpleasant - and you won't stay with it.

I'm totally stoked because my mom found some diabetic friendly chocolate truffles that are AMAZING! They taste soooo good! I still have to watch my portions, but I can have wonderful chocolate and not worry about it affecting my insulin resistance! :happydance:

thanks everyone!

Back on the waggon today, everything wrote down what i am eating. Gym tonight too :-) Feeling positive and ready to go
