I really want to adopt

She couldnt do it but I guess becaue she had only given us legal gaurdianship its different than signing away all her rights. We didnt want to got throught the legal battle and just decided to let her take her back. Mainly because it was family and then everyone would have gotten involved and it would have gotten ugly. I know going through a service for full adoption should be much more clear cut. I think we are giong to try for another year and then if nothing look into what it takes to strat the adoption process. Good Luck to you.

Curley Sue - I think that sounds like a good plan, adopting will be really fulfilling and my friends who have two adopted sons couldn't love them any more if they were there own. I feel the same as you, primarily i want to be a parent and bring up a child in a safe and loving environent. I would love it be mine biologically but am sure it wouldn't make any difference if it wasn't. I would also be interested in embryo donation but feel maybe its better to provide a home to a child thats needs one rather first but that would probably mean not having a baby.

As for your dilemma regarding IVF, its only a choice you can make as its YOUR body, but i can understand your OH wanting one more shot at it as its free. Whatever you choose to do I wish you all the best.

PS you may find IVF a lot better second time around as you will know what to expect. After a miscarriage its bloody scary to take the risk again but by doing it you can at least close a chapater in your life and move on. There is every chance it might work second time around.
