Bumping up hope everyone is well.

Finally ovulating cd34 about bloody time! Longest cycle yet since losing Jessica.

Going to speak to my g.p about it next week see if theres anything she can do about them if af shows (shes due xmas day of all days!) so hoping I get my bfp. Can't keep going on having such ridiculously long cycles! I mean 5 weeks to ov is taking the mick really isn't it?!

That must of been sooo frustrating waiting for ovulation sweetie But that does mean it WILL be an xmas day BFP

Onto the cycle I fell pregnant on this time last year, hope the same thing happens again this year (but with a better outcome obv, lol!)
Can't belive it's been 18 months since I officially started TTC! Where does the time go??

Been a bit awol from bnb af got me boxing day was so annoyed as according to ff she was due xmas day so i did get my hopes up when she was a no show that will teach me!

cd 4 now and on yet another long wait for ov I bloody hate it! Hoping to get an app with a doctor this week but think I won't be able to get in til next week we shall see I guess. Hopefully they will be willing to get to the bottom of why I am having long cycles.

Hey girls - there's a few names I know here so thought I'd drop in. In my 1st 2ww since starting to TTC again after 6 month break following 2 MMCs - so 2009 has been a bit pants for me really and am hoping to start 2010 in a better place. That's me in a nut shell - currently trying to work out if am pg, hungover or have a UTI - symptons all reamarkabley similar!!!

I've been porrly too, I had back to back virusy/flu type bugs, so maybe that hindered my chances the last two cycles?
I'm not sure, but we are really gonna go for it this month, lol xx

Hi ladies apologies for being awol recently I am back and promise to be around more

Well bit of an update sorry if its long lol.

As you know been suffering with irregular cycles and after last months mammoth 48 days i booked in to see my doctor about them. Saw her last week and she reffered me to get my thyroid and prolactin levels checked (which have ben done previously and came back fine). She said if they come back ok then she would suggest going on the pill for a couple of cycles see if that helps at all. At the time I just nodded in agreement but I really don't want to go down that route because a) I have read conflicting info on the internet that it might not actually help irregular cycles become regular once you come off it only when you are on it and b) I know most doctors suggest it as a cheaper option before having to reffer you.

So tests came back fine as I was expecting and really don't know what to do even thinking of going privately just so I can get proper help with regularising them.

Hoping I am pg this month and won't need to worry about it again. Am 9dpo according to ff and can you beleive it I actually ovulated on time this month! So a normal 35 day cycle for me this month. Took me by surprise and it was a good job I started doing opks when i did as I would never have known lol. Got plenty of bding in and now just playing the waiting game of sitting on my hands and not testing til a reasonable time.

Got my normal af symptoms so not holding out too much hope that we did it but I hope we did had well timed bding and we were both relaxed so will be gutted if we haven't.

How is everyone else doing Dan-o sorry to hear you have been ill recently hope you are better now! Have you ovulated yet?

Tasha good luck with your cycle this month hope your egg isn't too far from popping and you arne't waiting a long time.

Chill - hope you are ok hun. where are you in your cycle now?

I'd be wary of going on the pill myself, it could take months to recover from that hormonally. I don't understand how it would work to regulate things either, surly it would just stop you ovulating or knacker up your CM/CP for a few months?

Anyway, you might be getting a shiny new BFP in a few days, so you can forget about all of that!!

I'm in the DPO's too I think maybe 3dpo?
I haven't temped, so I wont know I've ov'd for sure, until my boobs inflate.They haven't yet so I'm still in two minds. But I had all the right signs at the right time, coupled with plenty of BD, so fingers crossed!!!

Yea I wouldnt go on the pill either hun. I am having a similar problem with cycles getting longer each month (last month was 44) and if the doctor dares suggests that I go on the pill I would strangle him Glad you ovulated on time this month.

Dan-o has this been a good length cycle if you have ovulated?

I am cd 16 now and think I might ovulate as I am getting ov pains, my insides feel like they will fall out soon If so it is a shorter cycle for me too

Well ladies can't beleive I am writing this but I got a faint bfp today!!! Pics in the pregnancy gallery. Am in shock can't quite beleive it!

Icouldn't beleive it when she suggested the pill but hey thats the nhs rather fob you off with the pill then refer you to a specialist! Anyways no need to worry now can go see her friday and tell her the good news!
