I was so worried

I was so upset at the thought of my little girl not having a sister to grow up with. I had to have a gender scan as soon as I could afford it to prepare myself. I have posted in these boards about my fears of gender disappointment recently.
Well today we had our scan and it was confirmed that we are having the little boy I feared.
I'm over the moon. I'm so so relieved that I am lucky enough to feel happy about it.
Just a little ray of hope for you all that the love will come and the disappointment will go. Whether it's instant or takes a few weeks it will kick in.

Congrats on your boy. I'm glad you're feeling ok about it. I have three sisters and a brother and I absolutely love my brother and he has a special little place in my heart. He's 20 now and I'm still really protective over him lol! Your daughter will adore her baby brother I'm having my 3rd boy and I'm sad my boys will never get to share that special bond with a sister. But happy for boy number three neither the less
