Not sure if I would have started sooner but It would have stopped me feeling so sad when AF arrived.

Sex education at school made out that I'd only need to be unsafe once and a baby would be guaranteed.

I suppose if you tell young girls that conceiving can be difficult they might be less than careful with their choices. It's hard to get your head around charting and testing and praying and nothing happening when for so long you've been told you could fall pregnant at the drop of a hat.

I too have told people we are trying, assuming it would be a matter of weeks rather than months (potentially years). Kicking myself a bit over that, just hoping they all don't notice!

Lirpa11- I had no idea what to "do" when we first started to TTC until a month later, so it's really only been since February. It feels much longer. I'm almost to cycle 5...hopefully not! I unfortunately told my friends before about us TTC so I felt even dumber when I realized my tracking for ovulation was way off. Everything is better now and I know what to do...other than bd! Haha...

KayeChay- Yes, I know how you feel. Everyone is pregnant. Someone actually asked me if we were TTC out of the blue. Just came up and asked us flat out. I hardly know her and it was extremely awkward. I am such a private person, and it was hard enough telling my close friends. I literally stared and said uh for a full minute while looking at my dh thinking, oh please say something! He didn't know what to do either so we just stood there silent and she was like...oh you don't have to answer. Really? THEN DON'T ASK THAT QUESTION!
