I'm new! Anyone else due on/around 26th Sept?

Glad to hear all the scans are going well, had mine today and they put me a week ahead! Kinda guessed it would happen as I knew we conceived on new year's eve and that was only a week after my last period. I have an anterior placenta. We're still team yellow as they don't tell you the gender here but I'm guessing maybe another boy, going by the head shape. Any guesses?

Yay! Well done saying No! I was all set to until he did a little porno pose and flashed us a little willy

Measuring great! My LO loved it, she was waving back at bub saying "Aww Hi baby!"
All the way home she was saying "Mummy, baby on tv!" bless her! She was right though, she said boy all along! x x

Ha ha! :D That's so funny! No getting away from it then! So so sweet about your little girl, sounds like she's going to be a fab big sis! :) xxx

20 weeks today! and my 10th wedding anniversary. was hoping we could go out or someting tonight but lack of babysitter means we will have to do a family thing at the weekend.

Yeh Double whammy Congrats!! :happydance: Know what you mean about sitters - it's our permanent problem, no family near us and friends miles away! xx

aww congrats ladies on yor scans I have mine this afternoon x

How'd it go ladygecko? x

Congratulations! God, I'm rubbish at that but will guess girl! xx

blurry picss of my baby girl...

Awww huge Congrats!!! Everyone keeps saying to us "so you want a boy this time then" and I take great pleasure in telling them, nope we're fine either way thank you! xxx

i honestly hated when people would say that to me....about what i wanted....before being preg i wanted a boy just because he would be the protector but once i got preg and had a feeling it was a girl i didnt care either way but it probly would of been a shock if she was a he

lilvixen...if one more person says to me "aww thats a shame, you must have wanted a boy" or "poor hubby 4 girls in the house" think im gonna bash them! why cant peeps be happy baby is healthy. dont think one person asked me that before the gender question.
sorry will get off my soap box now lol xxxx

Thats what I was worried about everyone's "Oh you must be so please, one of each" Ermm.. I wouldn't have been bothered either way as long as he was healthy! OH actually wanted another girl! Obviously he is thrilled now! :)

I don't think I've avoided them, I'll have them all to come in 4 months! :dohh:

well im glad im not the only one that gets irratated with every1 saying that...OH's friends say that sucks hes having a girl, but OH is happy he will have his little girl. yes he wanted a boy but is happy now.... i guess they think a little girl cant do anything with OH but i did tons of "boy suff" with my dad

My OH wanted another girl this time! I think little girls and dads have a special bond. I always did boyish things with my dad.. It doesn't matter as long as it's quality time :)

Agree with you all girls, it's soooo annoying!! I have one friend who I adore but is driving me crazy right now as she assumes we can't possibly want another girl and so is telling me everytime I see her, "it's def a boy, without a doubt, it just has to be, really hope it is!" argghhh!!! , my DH having originally fancied a lil boy at some point is really hoping it's a girl just to prove her wrong lol!

Got to go to hospital this morning, by myself (well with my 2 girls) for the 2nd time in 12 hours for an anti-D jab - I walloped my bump really hard yesterday :dohh: and it took the wind out of me and left me sore to the left of my belly button :nope: so made the decision to make the 2 hour round trip to hospital only to be told I can only have the anti-D after a blood test (which I had after a 2 hour wait for last night) and to 'nip' back tomorrow for the anti-D! Another 2 hour round trip for me this morn! :nope: Sooooo wish we didn't live in the middle of nowhere :nope:... one good thing, I got to hear babies HB again after the Dr. took forever finding it, oh yeah and nearly forgot, I got a cup of tea too whoo-hoo! :winkwink: xxx

Oh dear, sounds like you had an eventful day! I thought we didn't need the anti-D until after 28 weeks? I asked because I was told I might need it after I had a bleed :flower:

 day! It seems different hospitals have different policies on it, I still have to have the 2 scheduled jabs too but whenever you have a blow to your bump or you hav a bleed etc etc, if you're rhesus negative, apparentely you need the jab. I had to have a blood test first on Monday before getting the anti-D yesterday to check on my antibodies, which meant 2 trips to the hospital, bit of a drama but it was just one of those things... bubs kicked me all the way through so knew he/she was alright :winkwink:

MW said I can now transfer to a different hosp (current hosp won't send the anti-D to GP surgeries ) so that I can just get the scheduled jabs done at my GP's rather than traipsing all the way over to the hosp for them! If all goes well from now on I plan no more trips to hospital what with my home birth planned :)

Hello :flower:

Due on the 21st, blue bump and first baby!

 Hello & congratulations! Nothing compares to your first pregnancy as everything is so new & exciting, not that it's not very exciting after your first, you just usually know what's coming! :haha:

Well that sounds alot easier then, that you can get them at the GP's. Glad bub is ok!

Mine still had me up at 4am this morning kicking up a storm! I was laid with my tummy on OH's back and he eventually turned over and mumbled "Will you please stop elbowing me" to which I laughed and replied that was the baby kicking! :haha:

Hi and welcome MrsG, congrats on the pregnancy :flower:

Ha ha! :) That's brilliant! Mine is really starting to wallop me now too, DH and I have just had 2 day away trip and sleeping in a different bed is bad enough but like you I'm getting woken up too!!

Right girls TMI question!!!! (Might post in 2nd tri too!) whenever DH and I DTD :sex: I have really achey bum muscles for nearly a day afterwards  It only eases off when I sit down which as you know is imposs with 2 other LO's... I remember with my last 2 pregnancies we couldn't do the me-on-top position after the 2nd tri as I got pelvic pain whilst actually DTD but this isn't 'during', it's afterwards and the position doesn't make any difference, any ideas?

Oh guess not then! :haha:

How are you all girls? Less than halfway to go now! Have any of you had 22 week MW appointments this week or next? I'm a bit worried about my MW especially as I'm hoping for a HB... she doesn't seem particularly interested, don't feel nearly as important as I did with my 1st pregnancy, it seems the more babies you have, the less interested they are! :nope:

17+5 to go :happydance:
22 week app? I only have 16 & 28!
Also my MW told me the guidelines have changed and they don't like to listen in until after 32 weeks unless you have concerns x

try being on your 4th hun, i havent even seen my community MW yet.
ive only got to get to 38 weeks this time round whoop whoop!

sorry my silly mistake, should have written 'home birth' not hb - my fault!! Can't believe how policies can differ so much around the country! My MW has checked for the heartbeat since 16 weeks but doesn't still really know who on earth I am and I only live in a small community :nope: Just hoped I would bond with her just a tiny bit if she's going to be the one coming to my house watching me strip off and bring a human being into the world!

Lol better not try for a 4th ever then! Guess it's a case of "well you've done it before, get on with it!" :haha:
