I'm with the other ladies in that I would recommend testing with a First Repsonse. What DPO are you?

In regards to what everyone else is thinking....just tell them you had the reversal already, it's none of their business to speculate on what you do with your womb. Did your hubby have the follow up count of the swimmers done after he had the snip?

I agree with nov_mom, tell them that the reversal was already done! Not their business anyhow!

Looks like a BFP to me! Keep us posted when you retest!

Have to be completely honest, it looks like an evap to me...it's very similar to one I had on an IC after about 12 minutes(ish) a few months back... Mine had a pinky colour to it too and it made my heart skip a beat!

Although because it has a pinky colour to it it's still possible it is a BFP...Only way to know is by doing a better test, I don't trust IC's anymore.... Good luck!!

thanks everyone for your opinions. i did another IC today as i can't get out of the house to get a FRER at the moment as my 16 month old is poorly. It was as white as pure driven snow, so BFN today.

so on an IC can you sometimes get evaps. and sometimes not? very confusing, think if this is not it then will throw all my IC's away when we start TTC in January!!

i'm not sure where I am in my cycle as i'm not charting or anything, but my last period was 16 Sept, perhaps only 8 or 9 dpo??

i will do another test, a proper one in a couple of days to sort this out once and for all.

it would be nice if hubbie didn't have to have the op though!

How annoying! Throw away your IC's definitely! Hope you get a bfp when you restest.... if not then i hope you are not TTC for long when your hubby has his op

Looks BFP to me too... did hubby go in and get checked after he was healed... something like 70% of men don't they just trust it was done... Can't remember the actual stat but I know it was high

my hubbie did get tested after his reversal so we know it worked. we are aware that in tiny minority of cases they can reconnect by themselves. so although I know it is very unlikely that I am pregnant, it is possible. having said that, I did another IC test today which was BFN

am quite dissapointed really. am just hoping that it's too early to test, but then it still doesn't explain what i thought was a BFP!! it must just have been a very convincing evap. will keep my fingers crossed until AF arrives though.

am looking forward to coming back in the New year though when we are TTC if this isn't it, so you can all help me again, it's nice to have people to talk about it all with!!
