In Total Shock...

With my son, I couldn't eat eggs. Just the smell of eggs made me want to throw up lol. But with my daughter all I wanted was spicy food which is so unlike me. I ate spicy food the whole 9 months! I am glad you aren't feeling too bad. When is your next appt? My ultrasound is scheduled for May 21st so just alittle less than two weeks away. I am so ready!

LOL!! i have heard that anything that you didn't want to eat before you want and vice versa. i really wanted an egg and cheese on a croissant this morning. cravings cravings ...

nice nice, mine is the day after your's. my 1st prenatal with my new ob is on may 22nd. so about 2 weeks away. but all is well so i'm happy about that. still my nerves are kicking in though. last night my hubby made me paranoid, they gave me books/magazines. so we were just browsing through them. he was like let me see the pics, he looked at the measurement and then at the book, he was like our baby is too small for where it should be right now. i'm like no no doc said everything is just fine. so he scared me a little and i got the weirdest dream last night that our baby had 3 legs. ughhhh lol, i got up alot last night too to pee. i started taking the prenatal vitamin last night so i'm wondering if more peeing is due to that. but i know i just have to calm down and relax. all is just A OK.

I am sure everything is just perfect. Don't let your hubby scare you. Men, I tell you they don't have a clue when it comes to this pregnancy stuff lol. This is the third time we have been through this and he still doesn't have a clue. Last night I tried to explain to him I was tired. He was like all you did was sit home today with the kids. I'm like hello that is a full-time job haha and being pregnant on top of it makes it 10x harder. Maybe one day he will get it I worried about everything with both my pregnancies and I am worried with this one as well. I think it is just a natural feeling until we enter that safer zone around 12-14 weeks. I don't see the Dr until 12 weeks which is so odd to me because when we lived in Arkansas the dr there saw me after my 8 week ultrasound that same day so I guess they do things different here in Texas lol.

hahahaha yeh tell him you try being pregnant lol. i know my hubby is just anxious and all that. i love him so much though, he's soooo good to me. but then he got thoughts into my head which wasn't good ....

so i started taking the prenatal vitamins and not to be gross, tmi...i feel like it gave me diarhea and i'm sooo much more hungry today. is that normal?

Which prenatals are you taking? Did the dr prescribe them or did you buy them over the counter?

They are boxes that the doc gave me. said the OB will let me know which one to take when i see him on the 22nd. it's a prevital box, white and pink. i feel much better this morning though. so hopefully it was just an initial thing.

The ones that my dr prescribed me with my son had a stool softener in them so that's what I was wondering. If that's the case that may have been what caused the tummy issue. I have to take stool softeners daily. Pregnancy is not kind to me in that department! LOL

HAHAHAHAHA yeh i have to read the whole box carefully. i'm also thinking of taking it in the evening so i just sleep it off. no worries of side effects during the day.

That actually sounds very yummy! I had an egg, bacon and cheese taquito from Whataburger. I am not sure where you are located or if you have that place there but it is sooo good. My morning sickness kicked in this morning, not fun I am just anxiously waiting for my ultrasound to hurry up and get here!

I'm in CT where are you from? i've heard of it but we don't have that around here. awwww hope it's not bad for you. so far so good for me. i feel like my peanut is really taking good care of me!!! last few times i noticed i'm nauseous with some foods, but i know to not have them now. but so far so good. good luck with yours as well.

i know me too i so can't wait for the 8 week one. i also meet my new ob for the 1st time.

That was when we lived in Arkansas. We moved to Texas last October because my husband got a better job offer so now I am seeing a female OB here.

Mine right now is a male. But we may be switching to a new doctor's office as the one i go to is close to work for me but the hospital that they deliver are both 40 min. away. So with my due date at end of dec. weather and all unknown my hubby and i thought it would be better if we got a doc that would deliver at a closer hospital. So my next appt. we are going to ask him if he would go to the closer hospital, if not we'll ask him for a referral. one of our cousin's delivered there so i could always go to her ob.

i'm 7 weeks tomorrow, and so far so good for the morning sickness. the other day i couldn't eat eggs, but that was about it. my appetite is growing pretty quickly. i woke up early this morning to pee, couldn't go back to sleep cause my stomach was growling....had a banana and then fell back asleep.

Sounds like things are going well! I was only a few miles from the hospital with my last two children and it was so comforting. It took us maybe 5 minutes to get there. We are 3 miles away from the one here so that helps. LOL about the eggs, I know exactly what you mean that is how it was with my son. Do you want a boy or girl? Or does it matter? With this baby I don't really have a preference since I already have one of each

3 miles isn't too bad. ours would be about a 40 min drive with traffic, 30 min. without. but lets see what he says next week. i would feel more comfortable with a closer hospital for sure.

no it doesn't matter to us, boy or girl we will be ecstatic!!! as long as he/she is healthy

so far so good with food as well. but my fatigue is really kicking in. i took a cat nap at work yesterday, plopped on the couch as soon as i got home and went to bed at 9 last night and passed out. still feel tired this morning. so i know baby is doing well.

Wow that is a bit of a drive to the hospital, I would want to be closer too. We didn't plan on having any more children so I gave away most of my boy clothes so we will have to buy all new clothes if it's a boy size 0-18 months. I have 2T and up. I am kicking myself now for giving all that away but we didn't know this would happen Yeah the first trimester is awful on the fatigue. It will get better once you get into the second trimester

totally understandable. awww it's ok you didn't know this was going to happen. yeh that's what everyone tells me. but this way too i know all is ok with baby. i am sooo nervous with every twinge or pain that i get. but i know alot is happening down there.

i have my days ...some days i'm ok and others where i'm like why is this happening or why am i feeling this. but i know in my heart everything is fine.
