Sorry bit embarrising :blush: but i have noticed iv had increased body odour!iv looked it up on the internet (like i do everything!) and it says its quite normal has anyone else noticted or had this symptom?

Its starting to really effect me, where i work i sit quite close to poeple and the heating constantly on which doesnt help but im soo embarrased about it and its making me really paronoid!! i have a bath every day some times even a shower too and put loads of deodrant on, and top it up in the day but im getting really parinoid that other people will smell me as well :cry:

:hug: x

Are you sure its not just your sense of smell has got more sensitive i couldve sworn my living room smelt really bad the other day yet my company said all they could smell was airfreshener.

I dunno lol! it may be as my OH says he cant smell anything and im sure he would tell me the truth about it as im always going on about it! im just so paronoid because i thinks it horrible and i dont want other people to think i stink :( lol x

True nobody wants to think they stink but if your OH cant smell it i wouldnt worry

One odd thing I noticed just before I got my BFP was that my hair smelt different - not entirely unpleasant but a different kind of smell. I think it was just my sense of smell going insane though - as I noticed more stinky people on the tube around the same time lol!

You're not alone... recently I've noticed there are certain foods that I eat that I can smell later on my skin. Garlic and onions are especially bad and the smell is strong enough that I start feeling gross. DH hasn't said anything to me and I know he would if I stunk :rofl:

If your OH hasn't noticed it then you must be fine. I'm sure you get closer to him than your workmates!

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I cannot believe you guys mentioned this because this was something that was driving me crazy. I was put on bedrest for spotting from wk 5 till now so I thought that maybe being in bed all warmed up was making me sweat so much. But when I would ask DH, he would be like... nope!

So then I decided that it must be the heightened sense of smell, plus you do sweat more because your body temperature is alot higher when pregnant compared to when you're not. :dohh:

Good laugh though!

I've just noticed that my smell "down there" and my boyfriend's has gotten kind of bad, in my opinion. :blush:

Maybe my sense of smell is just stronger than it used to be, now that I'm pregnant and because I quit smoking? It doesn't seem to be smelly coming from my pits or anything else though. I've noticed a lot of things have been smelling bad to me now, though... my boyfriend's breath being one of them! :rofl:

My sweat always smelled like onions! :rofl: :rofl: I eat way too much of them. :blush:

This is my second pregnancy and I'm 11 weeks. I did not have this problem with my first pregnancy, but this one is so bad. I smell and apply deodorant throughout the day. I usually shower every other day and use dry shampoo in between, but now I have to shower daily sometimes twice a day. I'm not even someone who sweats bad. Hopefully it doesn't last throughout the ENTIRE pregnancy.
