This is so annoying hun.
When i went overdue with DS in 2009 they wanted me to ring in on the day and then they would tell me what time to go in. I was told a couple of times that they were too busy, until around 2-3pm they said yes come in. But i was speaking to another woman at the time (on another forum) who was also going thru this same process at the same hospital and she was due to go in on the same day as me. But she ended up getting fobbed off all day and the next day even went in but then was turned away because they didnt have room!
I think its appauling i really do. But this is the goverments fault, by cutting our maternity services and now we are suffering.
Fingers crossed they can maybe get you in later today or even better you set off by yourself xxx
