hello all, went to the dr's yesterday to try and get some blood tests that might be able to shed some light on why not getting pregnant and came out with a suspected infection/scarring post erpc (have had pc bleeeding and pain) - but it's been 3 months.....and I really can't believe it, was asked why I didn't have a follow up after the ERPC - well because no one told me I had to and the EPU didn't book one in - just like they forgot to book my scan after my med management which also went wrong.
Got to go back for tests next week as :witch: is here.

Had enough, has brought it all back, was trying so hard to keep it together.

And to cap it all she said I shouldn't have even been trying and wants me to go back on the pill - I'm 35 and I miscarried in February! Argh!!!!

Has anyone else had problems this far on?

Sorry for what you're going through. I had an ERPC but I didn't have a scan afterwards to check all was ok and removed. I can only assume that everything is back to normal with me because my periods have been pretty regular, and certainly don't appear to have any infections, although saying that, I am now on my 6th cycle after my miscarriage and desperately hoping this will be my month, especially as I fell pregnant on my 3rd cycle after coming off the pill. Really didn't think it would take this long to get pregnant again!

Did you have any signs of an infection or did you go to the doctors purely to check everything's ok as you haven't got pregnant again yet? And why did they say you should go back on the pill? Seems ridiculous! I'd definitely not do that.

Susan, no signs of infection - but last month had post coital bleeding which I thought could have been ovulation bleeding although never had before - I was just panicking as so many people had got pregnant so soon after mc which is why I went to dr. All sounds well with you which must be a relief. I am so worried about going back on the pill, I'm afraid I'm still convinced that I lost my bub because got pregnant straight off the pill. Feeling very irrational at the moment - thank you.:hugs:

I had my angel Gillian a month ago, and had to have the placenta removed in surgery.

I was surprised when I was discharged that there was no follow up planned with doc or anything.

Had a horrible "feeling" that something wasnt right down there with some brown discharge, went to doc last week and she took swabs, thinks I have an infection and just waiting for the results to come through, but pretty much a certainty.

I think its the fact that we are left to get on with it, if we had our babies and all had been ok, then we would get checked for "however long" by midwifes etc, but as it is, its like no baby, no aftercare.......

That sounds harsh as my doc has been great, but you know what I mean.

xx

Aw hun, I really wouldn't worry that it was the pill that could have caused your miscarriage. My friend got pregnant straight after coming off the pill and now has a healthy 3 year old boy. Lots of people manage to get pregnant straight after coming off. Good luck with trying again xxx
