Sigh. Sometimes I just cannot take this rollercoaster. IVF is covered by my insurance, but I got denied because of 1)age and 2) lack of sufficient attempts with conservative methods, aka IUI.
I already did two stimulated cycles (one tried natural BD, one IUI), responded great to stims, multiple follies, triggered and nothing. One blocked tube, possibly two. Doctor said IVF was logical next step rather than more fruitless IUIs. Insurance disagrees.
I really feel I have some issue (other than PCOS) preventing pregnancy and more IUIs will mean more disappointment. Plus, I'm one month on, one month off, due to overstimulation every time.
So, according to the nurse, I need two more IUIs before I even try to get approved for In Vitro. That means one attempt in March, off in April, one in May, off in June and posisbly IVF in July.
I just want to crawl up in a ball and implode
This is the most difficult thing I've ever been through. It is just way too much pain and sadness
