All three of my children were born by emergency C-Section.

I also have a son Clint who was eventually born full term - after I went into labour early I was put on a drip which managed to halt the labour as a result my son was born weighing 7lbs 1oz.

Just wanted to say that all your babies are absolutely beautiful, and such amazing little fighters!! It's so strange to think that some of them are only a couple of weeks bigger then what my little one is now,
Well done to all you mummies, daddies and babies, you really are an inspiration to us all.

my little cousin kyran was born last week 4week earli and weight just a tiny 4lb. hes absolutely gorgeous. he spent his first night in scbu and showed he was a little fighter and my auntie was woke up the next morning with him in his cot next to her. he's stuggled feedin up to now and had a feedin tube put in after 2days, this was taken out yesterday afternoon. they said he should be home by the end of the week all being well. =D x

All the baby pictures on here are so scrumpy, it still amazes me what little fighters they all are. Sending everyone whose baba is premature or poorly positive vibes and best wishes for the future.

They were big hun very big but they put that down to my diabetes i have had 5 others at term and they were massive. x
Am I counting right, you have 9 children?? I can barely cope with one!

I had heard diabetics do tend to have larger babies. Do they know why this is?

Hi hun you read right i have 9 earth babies 7 boys who are joe, jay, deon, scott, karllum, jack and harley and 2 girls beth and shannon my eldest is 16 in november and my little sweetie is 7 months :cloud9:
Trust me they are easier than having one and i live by a strict routine but it works. I would love another but i got sterralised due to having them early and with health probs with them and also me it is not worth the risk but i still regret it.

Diabetics have larger children as your glucose levels are raised if not managed properly ( mine were terrible even on insulin ) so the baby takes on some of the glucose and they end up big babies which can be a bad thing as they have a lot of fat on them and esp round the neck where it seems to lie on my lo's, they also suffer with jaundace when born due to diabetes.

Hun, you must have the patience of a saint! Do you have a picture of all of you together that you could post? xx

Aww thanks Hun. Archie just looked so cute in it. Cost me £50 though, total rip off!
50 quid??? That does sound pricey!

I guess the cuteness is worth it. Maybe it can become a family heirloom!

Oh I would love to see all nine together! hehe...so cute. So many! You must be a saint!

Jodie, how wonderful is your Honey?? I'm so happy for you....

My preemie, Carly only lived for 4 short months but she was MY preemie!
