Hi all! Just call me Nelly!! I'm 31, DH is 33. We've been ttc #1 since April last year. I started off using opk's, then graduated to charting my temps on an app on my phone. I then found Fertility Friend and now I'm a temperature nut!!! We've agreed to try unassisted for one more cycle and if it doesn't work it's off to the doctors for us

How do you like charting?? It looks complicated! I'm using OPKs but wondering if charting would give me more info. This is only our second cycle TTC so maybe someday!

Hmm. Maybe I'll try in a few months...but hopefully I won't need to!! I'm right behind you, CD 16. Not due to ovulate until CD 25, booo! Do you have regular 28-day cycles/have you already ovulated??

Afternoon all,

I'm Mel and I'm 30, my boyfriend of nearly 9 years is 39 (40 next month bless him) and this is the first time either of us has TTC so we are really excited, nervous too of course!

We've been trying since January this year but missed our chance in march as we were either ill or away from eachother unfortunately, so I'm crossing my fingers April will be our month.

It was a chore at first, I kept forgetting to take my temp and I did get confused but then found Fertility Friend and it all became clearer! I know for sure when I ov and I know before it comes when af is likely to be on the way, which also means I'm likely to have a good indication if/when I'm pregnant. I would definately recommend it, even to someone not ttc as it makes keeping track of af alot easier.

Hi everyone! I am 29 and my husband is 30. We have been trying to conceive for almost a year. We had 2 miscarriages last year and the 1st one we were not trying for but it made us realize that we are ready and willing for children! I go back to the doctor on Friday to find out what is going on with why we haven't conceived yet. My last bloodwork 6 months ago showed everything was normal...I hope it still is! Nice to meet everyone!

The first month we just dtd every other day. The second cycle I used OPK's with the smiley and never got a smiley..I think I missed my surge. I got off BCP in November and ever since I have had normal cycles 28-31 days. I decided not to use OPK's this cycle because they just add more stress. I was recommended to dtd every other day on CD10 up until my next period and to just relax. I wish everyone luck!

I see that you're due to ovulate 4/4, I'm due to OV 4/3 -- which would make my potential due date Christmas Day...eeeeek!!!!

Hi everyone,

Me and OH are both 28 and this is our first month TTC. I came off BCP on the 7th March and had my withdrawel bleed and just waiting to see what happens now! At the moment we're just enjoying the novelty of not using protection and if we have no luck in a few months I'll start using OPKs.

No my cycles are really irregular I don't know why yet. My last few cycle lengths are: 37days, 41 days 61 days 32 days! so annoying.
Im cd 21 today and got a +opk this morning, yippee!!!

Lol LISA just seen that post about a potential due date of xmas day! I think that would be so cool!!! I know some don't like the idea and a bummer for the child when people try and give a 2 in 1 present at xmas time lol!

Hi everyone. I'm 33 and DH is 35, we were NTNP from June last year after coming off BCP. Since then AF has got more and more unpredictable and her last convincing visit was around October. I went to the doctors end of Feb, who sent me for some blood tests and I also had a transvaginal ultrasound on Friday. I'm hoping I can get the results later this week and then I might get some idea of whether I am even ovulating and then (fingers crossed) we can get on with TTC (... and breathe...)!

Hey everyone!
Been lurking a bit and decided to finally jump in and introduce myself! Have a question already, but I'll post that elsewhere I've just turned 30 and he's 35, and we just decided to try last month. We're from Toronto.
I'm not quite sure what happened last month, but had a ridiculously long cycle for me (42-ish days?), so this month I picked up a big pack of OPK's and have my fingers crossed! I have a history of irregular cycles, but they've been relatively regular and mild for a few years-- until we decided to try. Go figure! We're both super pumped and impatient, so expect many questions and responses from this vegan mumma!
