Is it possible?

Hey ladies

I took a break from the forum due to us suffering a miscarriage and going through some problems the back end of last year. But we're back on track and currently not trying but not preventing. Anywho, I need a bit of advice. Me and OH had ourselves a rather romantic valentines day this year which is out of the ordinary for us as my OH isn't the romantic sort I'll skip to the point anyway lol we did the deed late night 14th feb, I'm sure I was due to ovulate 11th feb and just assumed we'd missed our chance and seeing as how we're not strictly trying it didn't occur to me that I could be pregnant until this week when I was due AF.

I'm currently 3 days late I know it's not a huge amount of time but I am usually like clockwork except when I've been pregnant. So the short version of this post (sorry for the essay), does anybody think it's possible I may be pregnant? I don't want to get my hopes up but it would just be our luck to be pregnant when we're not trying. Any advice would be great x

If ur cycles are usually very regular and now ur late then yes! Def. if possible ur pregnant. Sperm can live inside u for at least a couple days. Hope u get a BFP!!

Yeah I am regular although it's been known for me to have a few hiccups, but it's only been when I've been on a plane which I haven't this time lol. Thank you hun I just don't want to get my hopes up too much x

Well if you really ovulated the 11th and didn't BD until late the 14th, then I would think no, it wouldn't be possible. However, there's nothing saying you didn't ovulate a little later than you would have expected. I have pretty regular cycles and since tracking have always ovulated at about the same time every cycle, give or take 1-2 days. But this month (a month I happen to be taking off TTC due to medical issues), I'm still waiting to ovulate several days after normal. It happens! Maybe you just ovulated late. Have you tested? I think it's time!

I'm not sure if I actually ovulated on the 11th, I usually get Mittelschmerz (ovulation pain) when I'm ovulating which although painful at least I know when it's happening. I got that on the 11th but I also got it on the 14th which confused me a little, so I either ovulated twice this month or i was just getting cramps Idk. I haven't tested yet I'm waiting to see if AF shows I don't want to be hasty.

Honestly if your AF is always on time then you might be! I hope you are! But your right in not getting your hopes up. I say take a test, even if it negative (I hope not) then at least you will know. For me waiting is harder, I hope and pray for the day I skip a day! I'm always on time also!

Deep down I'm really excited that I could be pregnant again but also fearful at the same time. Yeah I think if AF doesn't show tomorrow I'll test I'm nervous as heck though lol I think I'd drive my OH insane if I waited. Fingers crossed you get your bfp soon!

Thanks! I'm sure you must be super excited! My AF is due tomorrow and I just want the day to fly by so I know what happens! Its so nerve racking! I'm sending loads of baby dust to you!

***UPDATE***

So I tested this afternoon and got obviously it wasn't my first urine of the day so I'm going to test again in the morning to be sure, but I think it's fair enough to say I'm not pregnant I must just be on a longer cycle this month now it's just a waiting game for the dreaded AF
