Glad your levels went up so well! Was it the doc that called you?! I can't believe he/she said that, maybe they didn't realize you were sooo early! Your numbers aren't low at all and your progression was fabulous. I'd agree with other posters, definitely need a new ob!
Update: Had my 2nd draw today & my level was 146! It almost tripled! I knew my doctor was wrong!!!!! Crying tears of joy right now!

That is amazing news!! I am just a few day behind you....had a MC in March this year and just got BFP at 11dpo. Dr wanted to do betas because of the MC and mine came in at 29. Dr said it was normal and had my second draw this past weekend on Saturday so have to wait for those results tomorrow....fingers crossed this is our rainbow!! Hoping I get good news like you!!!
Got my levels back yesterday and they more than doubled!! Went up to 79 and since progesterone is also good, Dr. said unless there are any complications (pain or bleeding like last time) she'd see me for our first US on 8/5!! So super excited right now and I just can't believe it!!
so my stats are --- 3w= BFP, 3w1d = 29HCG, 3w3d = 79 HCG
Thanks for all of the thoughts and prayers!!
That is great news ladies. A very healthy and event-free 9 mos for you.
Can I ask if you felt stronger symptoms that indicated your HCG was going up?
The reason why I ask is that my 2nd HCG (at 16dpo) only went up 61% in 48hours and I have to go for another check Friday (20dpo) and I'm a nervous wreck because my symptoms have decreased significantly from my initial BFP. I know it's normal for symptoms to change, and I am being a worrywart, but the nurse really scared the you know what out of me, especially since I mostly only feel different after I apply the progesterone cream.
That is great news sn0wbunnie!
And thanks for the reassurance sn0wbunnie and taquito. I go for my next level check in the morning and I am a nervous wreck. I haven't been POAS any more this week because I didn't want to work myself up any more and I still have the pressure and twinging and persistant lack of appetite so while I feel less pregnant than I did when I was first diagnosed, it is very likely that I've just gotten used to how I am feeling with some symptoms coming and going.
