Is this a silly idea?

So our 1yr wedding anniversary is coming up. I've always loved the idea of boudoir photos for DH but the time is never right between pregnancies and thyroid issues I feel like my body is always a mess. Well I honestly don't look bad pregnant and he likes my pregnant body. I was thinking of doing some of my own flirty pictures at home for him since the traditional first gift is paper. I have a decent knowledge/ability for photography so I was thinking they wouldn't be perfect but good enough. I really can't afford to shell out $1000 for a gift right now. I even have a friend or two I could ask to help me out. I figure kills two birds with one stone too because I was wanting to do some mat pictures for myself anyways. Thoughts? I found these simple ideas on pinterest.

I think its a cute idea. Just stay away from the last pic, its uber tacky.

I think this is a great idea, especially if your DH likes seeing your pregnant body!

I'm with the other ladies - love the first three pics, not keen on the last one.

If you think DH would enjoy this, then absolutely go for it!
