Yeah but hun IC are not the most sensitive of tests and it can take ages for them to show up positive. If you did ov on CD21/22 and you are pregnant then you'll only be around what.. 9/10dpo? which is still so early! FX for you babe

My OPKs were like that but the IC were so I got 2 asda tests and they were both so faint that I classed them as 's and the same with a tesco test, then my sister got fed up with me going on about it and went and got a digi and it was a - I've heard quite a lot of ladies say that it takes a long time for the IC's to show a If was coming tomorrow - or anytiime soon, I wouldn't expect your opk's to look like that - and they're getting darker!!!!!! I hope this is your month!

Hi Nicky,

I believe this could definitley be your BFP and I have just done a little test that can back me up on this.

I did an OPK and a HPT test today just for a laugh, since I had my HCG injection last night, if you take a look at these pictures you will see the HPT is absolutely pathetic and the OPK gave a nice shiny positive.

If you have a digi I reckon it could very well say "POSITIVE",

Your chart shifted O day? I hated that happening and it was definately wrong sometimes but I can't figure or remember how its works and may be because you recorded a + opk on that day.

Nicky Im not sure on your circumstances but do you OPK for a whole month? Have you OPK'ed before 5 days ago? Does your CM match the plus OPKs (noticed you check this)?

Also did I read your first HPT on this thread was not FMU? If not you need to or you can 'cook' the water by going to the loo, drinking nothing and holding from the bathroom as long as you can up to 4 hours and test ...nice and strong sample.

No I use a CBFM and never usually have any probs with it but I never got my PEAK this month for some reason?? - just 18 consecutive days of HIGH readings

The monitor automatically went back to LOW once it had stopped requesting sticks - so I decided to do an OPK to see what was going on...

The OPKs have been getting darker for the last 6 days

(have used OPK's successfully in the past before getting the monitor & occasionally to double check what the monitor was saying IYKWIM?)

I had LOADS of EWCM on CD17 - which would be about right for when id normally OV, my temp went up the following day & should've kept going up but it went back down so im guessing something happened to delay OV??

Temps started rising again on CD21 so i wonder if this was my body trying to Ov again? (didn't notice CM but don't usually get much TBH)

FF wasn't convinced & still isnt really - but put Ov at CD27 making me 5DPO now (had more EWCM CD27-29 so this would support FF)

BUT if im 5DPO why am I still getting +OPK's??

Personally im not convinced I've even Ov'd at all

My cycles have always been regular so I have no idea why this one is so messed up xx

Yeah, if it were me I would get -ing as I think your body just geared to it for a looooong long time and will only now O.

If anything I'd expect some serious pains Oing over the next day or two as it sounds like you cooked a mega eggy

I actually had some pains earlier this afternoon in my left lower pelvic area so maybe thats what it was?

will have to grab DH when he gets in from work - coz typically (if I just Ov'd now) we didn't last night

we are knackered coz its been such a looooooooooooooooooong cycle! xx

Forst response are naff for early testing when exact O day is unsure imo

Tesco tests 2 in pack for £5/6 are good

Nicky all sounds confusing and possibily promising but so hard to see whats going on for you and would hate to guess on the OPKs for your own sanity!

Just a thought, have you been to see your gynea since your loss and have you bits checked out. Perhaps you just need a just a little bit of guidence from a professional to help you get the timing right so you can get that wonderful BFP.

What do you mean "have my bits checked out"? I had an ERPC to remove the placenta so had to have a scan afterward & everything was fine

Its almost a year since losing Sophie & I've Ov'd fine every month up until now so I dont think that has any bearing on what is happening, I usually know without a shadow of doubt when I Ov so timing isnt normally an issue & hasn't been an issue even tho this cycle has been crazy.

Im confident there has always been a fresh supply of no matter when my egg decided to try & sneak out

plus - docs wont take me seriously until the 12 month mark is up... and even then, they are sceptical as I've been pregnant twice so (according to them) "everything works the way it should do" xx
