ok sooo... me & DH have been ttc #1 .. I have never been pregnant before & he also has no kids. we tried a couple years ago for a few months & nothing happened. I thought I was infertile? ive never been on any type of BC & still have never gotten preg. I started having irregular periods a few months ago anyway my doctor did a laporscopy or however u spell it.. tubes were clear. she prescribed me clomid provera & metformin (although i don't have PCOS) anyway i took provera for around 7 days & nothing happened. i ordered a 20 pack of wondfo pregnancy tests & OPK's i don't kno why but i jus started testing about 4-5 days ago they were all neg. until 2 days ago. i took one didn't see a second line n the first like 30 sec so i said nope & left the bathroom. came back later & there was a second line.. thought maybe evap? (although i have never gotten an evap on wondfo b4) took another test the next morning after 2 or 3 mins a faint but def visible second line!!! i took about 5 more lOl all faint positives. thought maybe bad batch of tests? had DH take one lOl negative no evap no nothing. DH talked me into going 2 planned parenthood 2day.. all they did was a urine test but it came back positive!!! im just scared cuz i was taking metformin & provera while pregnant. i hope im ok! just so weird just as i was about 2 start fertility drugs bam im pregnant lOl. any advice or anything will b appreciated.

fingers crossed 4 u!! I know how it is wanting 2 get pregnant SO badly. I honestly thought id never get pregnant.. I feel like if theres hope 4 me there is hope 4 almost everybody! good luck!!

have u seen a dr? have u been tracking ovulation? most women CAN and WILL get pregnant. a little rare 2 b infertile. so the odds r n ur favor. If u kno u have been having sex at or around the time of ovulation for 2 years I would c a dr & also have DH c a dr. best of luck 2 u im sure everything will work out just fine

Thank you. Yes, I know when I ovulate. But mostly we are not strictly actively TTC. But I know we have sex few shots around fertile time. Plan to try actively from May/ June after fertility testing. I had a HSG done and it came clear.

that's good ur hsg came back clear. i was really worried wen i had my laproscopy that my tubes were gonna b blocked or something. isn't a hsg & a lap pretty much the same thing? im sure wen u really start trying u will get preggo! until then (& after then) this website is amazing! 2 talk 2 other women ttc. im really glad i ended up finding babyandbump.

Yes, this site is really helpful.

Laparoscopy is bit advanced than HSG. If they suspect any blockage then they ask for laparoscopy I think.
