I can't make my mind up about this name. I'm really drawn to it but the pronunciation/spelling throws me a bit. I also wonder how it would be shortened. Eye? Zay?
Thinking of using it as a middle name to avoid said issues...

I think it's a very nice name! I have heard people shortened it to "Izay" or "Zay" but only when calling or talking to the person, not as an official nn.

I absolutely adore Isaiah, I think it is a lovely name. It was my Grandfathers first name. (... yes, I'm Jewish )

At least you didn't go for something totally obscure, in todays culture (at least if you are not a Jew). I.e Naphtali or Ephraim.

I would absolutely love to give one of my children (if I ever have more) a traditional all singing Hebrew name. Tegan and Ovadya. What a strange pair of names..
