well as long as it fits its ok to use, but if you prefer it less bulky, i would wait. Here is an image of how to fold the cushies to get a better fit on a skinny or small baby (skinny in my LOs case)


Before I realised how to fold it, i was getting leg gape and wing droop and i actually sold some of my cushies when i couldnt get a good fit But i kept 2 of my faves and learnt the fold and its a lifesaver!

I ytied to fold over and it tries to unfold itself... think A's legs must be too chubby! Only get a teeny bit of leg gape unfolded and they don't leak unless i leave him for 3 hours.

the wings need to be over the poppers to hold the fold in place, didnt work the first time for us but now it does, but hunter is long and skinny so even though he is old enough and weighs enough to where he shouldnt need it folded, he does every baby ahs a different shape though
