It still hurts when he latches on, as far as I know his latch is fine and HV agreed so I don't understand? Is it still meant to hurt 2 weeks into feeding?

with me and harry it took about 6-7 weeks until it all settled down and stopped hurting, if your latch is fine then it should seetle soon, most people allow about 6 weeks for it all to become fine x

It still hurts me hun, not as much but its definitely uncomfy for the first minute :hugs:

Yeah - give it a bit longer for your nipples to 'toughen up' - not literally BTW....:dohh:

If it only hurts for the first 10/20 seconds or so, it's fine and wont last much longer :)

yeah it dont last the whole way through a feed

I'm glad lol I can't wait for it to stop hurting, its really bloody painful!

 You are doing really well hun. This is the point lots of mums give up and I'm sure you can see why! I dont think it will be long before you start to see a real improvement :)

I still occasionally get a toe curling moment with harry.... sometimes he will catch me wrong and it makes me shudder the way he latches!!!
It wont be long hun and it will all feel fine xx

I don't know what Halen did the other night but it made my arm and hand twitch lol it felt really weird!!

It was somewhere between 2-3 weeks before it stopped hurting for me.

I remember in the hospital when they described it as 'toe curling' and that it would only last a few a days, to me it actually felt like having a piece of glass shoved through my nipple!

I can see why a lot of people give up as if they are telling people like me in hospital it only hurts for a few days and then two weeks down the line they are still in agony. If it hadn't been for copius amounts of nipple cream, shields, shells, pumping and paracetamol I don't think id of stuck it out. I could open a shop with the amount of stuff ive got here.

Well done for fighting through it, its hard work but worth it when you come through the other side.

I still get it, especially when Marley is having a clingy day/night that's when mine really start to hurt again. But it's definitely not as bad as it was the first 1-2 weeks:wacko:

same here, the first 10 secs kill! im hoping it will go away too!

today has been LOADS better :happydance: still hurting but not for as long and not quiet as painful yayy!!
