hey ladies,
Hope you dont mind me jumping here
Just thought its worth mentioning - Im currently going to a private fs... the waiting would kill me lol. I called for an appointment on Tuesday and got one for tomorrow! They are going to do the scan the same day. Im told that the consultant will do the scan and we should know things very quickly.
I thought it would be very expensive but its coating me £150 for the consult and £100 for the scan (and thats a super posh place!). Bloods are about £100 depending on what you need but very often you can get them run by your gp on your fs advice to get it free
Just thought id share incase the wait is too much to bear. I was just surprised it wasnt more expensive. Im sure if something is really wrong or you need more invasive tests then the costs mount up but ive been told that most things you can go back to your gp for if your fs advises it. For example - my doc said if the fs wants me to have clomid then I can get it from the NHS along with any associated bloods/scans.
Good luck everyone x x x
