IVF starters in May/June

I start IVF early June. My meds arrive later this week. I’m nervous. I want to be so excited but I know odds are against us.

A little about me: I’m 36, married to DH since 2010. Trying to conceive since 2009.

TTC issues: Unexplained, later one blocked tube.

I thought I was okay with being childless. I guess the famous biological clock started kicking. I even thought of adoption for a bit but decided the option wasn’t for me. The best thing would have to be an open adoption and I’m too selfish at the moment‍. I don’t want to share.

DH and I talked and said let’s give IVF a try.

I’m so overwhelmed, but I hope this egg retrieval goes well in a couple weeks. Not looking forward to the injection pain I’ve seen on Tik Tok.

Anyway just looking for others in the same boat.

Congratulations on your decision! My doctor doesn't recommend spending too much time reading about IVF on the internet or browsing social media, as each case is unique.
