January Garnets 2010 unite!

I noticed that there is no January Garnet's group! Our lo's are all coming up to 5 months in June I thought we could all catch up with how its all going and how quickly are babies are growing up!!

Ooooh hi!!

I had Lennon on January 6th which was his due date.

He's really alert and doing really well in that sense but is still quite small (11lbs 2).

Hope too see lots of updates from the other January Garnets x

Harry was born on Jan 12th a few hours before his due date! He was 15lb two weeks ago he's such a chunky monkey! He's just able to sit up but falls when he stops concentrating and he's desperately trying to roll over!!
I can't believe how quickly its going!! x

I had Lucas on 16th Jan...induced day before my due date due to reduced movement since 33 weeks and then eventually no movement from about the 37 week mark he was fine just lazy but I do feel I missed out on seeing my whole tummy move and things like that
He is getting so big..not had hi weighed in a while but taking him Thursday to get weighed so will update then. He's rolled once from front to back but think he scared himself and has never done it again

hi girls!!! Maisie is 4 months old in 2 days dnt kno wher the time has gone!! shes been quite cranky the past few days tho with this heat and gone off her food and wants to sleep loads.

she was born 26th Jan, 1 week late after being induced due to bleeding after sex. she weighed 6 1b 7 an shes fab!! i had quite a quick induction, got started off with my first gel at 9.30am and she was born 23:54 after only 4 minutes of pushing!! i did have quite a few stitches tho x

Hi everyone.
Izzy was born Januray 9th weighing 8Ib 4oz, 5 days late & she finally decided to arrive in the middle of a mini snow storm.
She already rolls over and is forever chew anything she can get her hands on lol.
Getting her weighed today so will update later. x

Maisie isnt rolling over yet, shes too lazy lol, she rolls oto her side to watch tele lol but thats about it x x

My little man decided to make his appearance amongst all the snow, i had a very quick labour and the ambulance couldn't stretcher me out because of our steep drive and the snow! I ended up hobbling down the drive in my dressing gown and slippers into the ambulance then hobbled right back up the next day with Harry bean as we struggled with the car!! Still i got to spend a nice few days all cosy on the sofa with my new baby

Maisie held out till after the snow even shuvelling snow and pushing the car through it wouldnt budge her, she wldnt come out by herself we had to go in n get her with an induction lol x

Hiya

I think I'm a January Garnet lol....Lola was due 1st Jan but she arrived in time for the party on 31st December

I was induced due to high blood pressure and LOs heartbeat going up to 200bpm

She was a little dink at 5lb 12

She's not rolling over but desperately trying to stand up

Has anyone got any teeth yet?

No teeth here yet but we have the bright red cheeks, excessive dribbling, chewing anything he can get his mouth round and the whinging so hopefully they should be making an appearence soon x

Yup we're the same, we're constantly changing tops etc due to all the dribble! I'm sure they are going to make an appearance soon!

On another (touchy) subject has anyone started weaning? We started on baby rice last week and have been trying something new each day and its going really well! Bananna today which Harry wasn't too impressed with!
I know its a personal choice when to wean but i started with Lottie at 17 weeks and although it was a slow start she did really well! Harry is a fairly big baby and is really enjoying it aswell as his milk so its working well for us!

ive just slowly started giving maisie juice but she seems to like it and let her suck on a rusk which she loves, im just trying to wait till she seems ready, which i think wnt be too long x x

Haven't really started yet although I think he's ready...gave him a bit of banana to suck on yesterday as he was interested when i was eating it so handed it to him to see what he did with it. He had the idea but got frustrated when the banana started slipping out his hand. Planning on starting him on baby rice next week

Lol Isabels clothes are forever covered in dribble, dont help she pulls her dresses up to chew on the bottem x

Hello, can I join in??

Erin was due on on the 6th, but was obviously far too warm in mummy's tummy to come out in the snow, and so she finally arrived by C section after I was induced, on the 18th.

She's doing really well, was 15lb1oz 2 weeks ago, and also started rolling from her front to her back 2 weeks ago. She's still not sure about sitting up though, and she ends up with her head down trying to chomp on my hand as I'm holding her

It's interesting to see what you other ladies are doing re weaning. Erin's so fascinated with DH and me eating. I'll probably hang on until she's sitting up better and then start her off then.
