hey ladies....any of you who had sections....did you get the headache? I had a headache yesterday that just hit as i was leaving hospital. took advilwhen i got home and then later took a tylenol 3 and a nap and it went away. now today i have another one in a different spot but i took 2 extra strenghth advil and had a good 2 hour nap and my head is still killing me so i took a tylenol 3 and im waiting to see if its working.

Also my back has been killing me. it was my lower back the last few days which i was told is because im not using stomachmuscles so im using my back more and im just not use to it but now today i hurt up more like across my shoulder blades.

I just feel like hell now since my nap. and it doesn't even seem related to the pain i feel from the section..which isnt too bad today.

I didn't have a section, but i have soreness too. I think it's because my center of gravity is thrown off again because I don't have to compensate any more for the extra weight. Plus, carrying the LO, bending over the bassinet, extra weight in the boobs, and posture during BFing has made my back pretty sore all up and down. Luckily, my OH cracked my back yesterday and it feels a bit better. I should do some more exercise to strengthen my abdominal muscles so I'm more balanced in my support.

I had epi & section but fortunately didnt get the headaches - I did think it was an epi headache though not section related. Don't forget though you've had major surgery, you're body will be exhausted and trying to heal itself. Try and get as much rest as you can.

You'll be just fine! You'll be surprised how great a mommy you'll be given the opportunity. I spent the 2nd night of her life alone and we got along just fine, albeit it was in the hospital. But Mark's been working every day since she's been born. You'll find you and your lo learn so much about each other, it becomes almost boring taking care of them. I promise, it gets easier and easier every day. You'll be great! and we're here for advise and support if you get lonely.

What does your hubby do? Mine went back to work last thursday and I cried all day you will be fine though hun and will just get on with things.

In the winter he does snow removal so he only works when it snows and now it's snowing I hope it goes okay.

Joe woke up at 3am only last night, and just now for a feed WTG Joe

Morning all, Jacob is doing well weight loss has tapered off but if we haven't started gaining by sunday we'll have to go on a more regimented feeding plan. He feeds really well I just think he's like his brother and is a small baby and slow gainer.

Had to buy early baby clothes this week as all the newborn stuff was falling off him.

awww bless him hope he has put on some weight by sunday, Joe has outgrown all his newborn stuff and is in 0-3months now they grow so quickly.
Had my 6week check and she is sending me for a scan as im still very tender and bleeding has only just stopped, not sure what the scan will show though or what they are looking for but its prob something to do with the dreaded placenta! Joe asleep now, he has been full of smiles this morning and seems really relaxed, i reckon its all to do with that tongue tie he had

They scan for residual leftovers Sar. I bled on and off for about 5 weeks last time watch out for any clots bigger than a 50p piece is the advice I got.

Joe must be growing well I dont envisage getting into 0-3 for at least a couple of months. Ive only bought minimal in petite baby and newborn so the washer is going to be going on lots.

Im thinking i need to get more premie clothes now. I wasn't expecting a tiny baby this time becuse at the last u/s 35 weeks they said he was 5lbs 13 oz already so i thought he was going to be atleast 6lbs or more. Only bought like 6-8 new born/premie outfits. I had to put him in a 0-3 months outfit last night and hes just swimming in it...its soo funny.
