January JellyBean mummies

joe poo's every 2-3 days normally, only this week he been once a day

Phoebe poos loads still but not usually in the night.

Wow aren't these babies getting big so quick! Phoebe is 4 weeks on Thursday!

Anyway I'm happy this morning cos she went down in her Moses basket from just before 11pm until 2am and I feel so much better for being able to put her down without screaming.

Hope you have a better night Laura x

im bleeding again quite heavily 2 weeks after my last period, going back to Drs on Thurs

Hello ladies!

Just had the chance to read back through and it is amazing that we all seems to be experiencing the same things. Its nice to share the experience with you all.

Sarah how bad is it? Are you still using maternity pads? And have you got period pains too? Sending a big hug

Lisa bet your bouncing off the walls with excitement hunny. Hope the trip goes ok although I'm sure it will :)

Emily congrats on the moses basket acheivement! Toby won't sleep in his although to be fair I haven't tried him in it for a few weeks now so maybe should give it another go?!?! :S

Toby seems to poo 1-2 times a day but most of his nappy changes are incredibly wet - thank goodness for pampers!! He's also taking between 3- oz at every feed but has the odd one where he only takes 2 oz before dropping off! Makes me cross cos he then wakes up (if he sleeps after it lol) and wants more about an hour or so later. If he takes a full 3-4 oz he seems to be going 3-4 hours between feeds now.

Having a lazy day today. Nothing planned so still in my PJs :haha: Toby is bathed and dressed tho, I love the dungarees hes got on today. We looked at a book this morning called 'brown bear brown bear what do you see?' by Eric Carle and he was so enraptured (sp) by it. Loved all the colours but I thought he could only see black white and red yet? Anyone know when they start seeing colours??

He's also been cooing and gugling a lot more, particularly at nappy changes when laying on his mat. That boy loves being naked lol!!

xxxx

Hi guys,

I am so proud of my little man sleeping in his moses basket all night. He woke every 3 - 4 hours for a feed but I seem (fx) to have developed the art of winding. I sit him up and pat his back half way through and then again at the end - having given gripe water. Then I do tiger in the tree and massage his belly before it gets rock hard and painful, then I finish him off over my shoulder rubbing and patting his back. Yay for a settled baby! Going to get some anti collic teats from Boots today as well because it is registration day. Michael shall have his official moniker. HV and MW called today too - he can hear properly and has put on 8oz this week so is now 8lb 6oz. All those night feeds must be worth it : )

Lisa - our doctor said that Kieran can't have his jabs early so he won be gettin his 2 month jabs until he is 3 months. How bizarre our docs said th exact opposite!

Kieran giggled in his sleep last night. :cloud9: it was the cutest thing ever!!!

Sarah, hope everything is ok :hugs:

Suzie, yay for Michael!

We went to the breastfeeding support group today and Phoebe met other babies! She fed and slept through most of it though!

My statement - I'm Sam, live in Essex, age 34 and single mum of 4. I have 2 girls aged 13 and 11, a son aged 9 and baby Phoebe who was born at home on 13 January after a very easy and short labour. We also have a dog, 3 cats, 2 hamsters, 2 gerbils, 2 chinchillas and a very fat bunny rabbit, definately animal lovers here!

Happy 3 weeks Fearne and 4 weeks Quinn!

Lisa the jabs are not nice are they? :( Bet you are so excited for uk now tho! If you get time you could meet me half way, you not far in leeds from me :)

I having a mare of a day with a very clingy Alex!

He gets weighed at 6 week review Thurs I am guessing 9 pound 12 oz which is a 3 pound gain in 3 weeks :D

Thanks Cat, I'm really not sure how we ended up with so many! We started off with 2 cats too.........................

Jade, I'm getting Phoebe weighed tomorrow, first time I've been to the baby clinic for years! Haven't a clue how much she weighs now though - she was 7lb 11oz 2 weeks ago and it definately feels like shes put weight on lol

Urgh bad day, just had to go to the hospital cos I've got an infection :( but baby was very good and slept through the whole time we were waiting there :)

For the front page:

I'm Natasha, 24 and living in Finland though I'm from the UK originally. Living with my hubby-to-be and our little, as yet nameless, girl (though not so little really as she was over 4kg when she was born). I'm mostly breastfeeding but having to give some bottles as well cos of problems with supply but trying to remedy that. I'm a student who's been on a break for the past 3 years...really ought to finish my degree!

How are you doing today Natasha? I had an infection too, its not nice. :hugs:

im bleeding again quite heavily 2 weeks after my last period, going back to Drs on Thurs

You've had a rough time with the bleeding, hope the doc helps you out! I've been really lucky and stopped just after 4 weeks and had nothing since. I was v irregular before bein pregnant though which is why it took 4 years to conceive. Was hoping the pregnancy might help out in that department, but no AF as yet

Its so weird how different things are in different places. Does that affect your travel dates?

Happy 3 weeks Fearne and 4 weeks Quinn!

Hi Kerry, congrats on the birth of Sidney, it seems those blue bumps caught up!

Well Holly seems slightly off her food - she was on 6-7 oz but for last few feeds has only had 4-5 and has then gone straight back to sleep. I'm presuming its the jabs. I really should go get my head down again too as shes back asleep now. Got all the stuff out for packing yday but couldnt bring myself round to starting it. Really need to get my ass in gear today! :dohh: Got washing to do, vacuum, clean bathrooms.....urgh!!!

I'm doing ok thanks, not as painful as yesterday and I've got the antibiotics now and OH has ordered me to rest.

Got baby's registration papers today, really need to decide on her name!

Soooo excited about our trip home!!!! :happydance::happydance: We fly on thursday (but don't land til friday, go figure! :dohh:) and Holly and I stay for 3 weeks!!!! Eeek! Unfortunately hubby can only stay for 2 weeks due to work, but my mums coming back with us so I won't have to fly with Holly on my own. Have just started packing, its unbelieveable how much stuff this child needs! She's only little!! Oh and on that note the not-so-lil porker is now 12lb!

Not long now Lisa :) Who will be looking after your little dog while you're away?

Fearne is 3 weeks today, where does the time go? X

Happy 3 weeks Fearne! Can't believe she's only 3 weeks since she was due the same day as Mackenzie, lol

He must be an awesome kid with that birth date, lol.

Mackenzie's rash/pimples on her face is not getting better, it's just spreading. We have an appointment on Thurs but in the meantime has anyone else had this problem? At what age did your LO's start enjoying their toys as Mackenzie has NO interest in any of them. The only thing she likes to stare at is the black knobs on the corners of my wrought iron bed frame!?

Lisa am in Warsop so very near Chesterfield and not far from Sheffield :)

Meadow hall meet? :D

Not fair  I also want to meet up. Anyone wanna sponsor me a flight, lol.
