January JellyBean mummies

Big hugs to everyone :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs: with babies that aren't sleeping.

Isobel is 7 weeks tomorrow and after being a good sleeper then going to a few really bad nights we seem to be out the other side for a little while!

I have swapped izzies formula to aptamil comfort and I have a different baby! She poops everyday so no more screaming fits and it has helped her really bad wind (don't think it was quite cholic but it was awful :nope:) she doesn't need any gripe water and infacol any more she can burp on her own. night feeds were taking 1.5 hours each time as she couldn't lay down due to the pain, now we are down to 30 mins max.

Let night she went down at 9 dreemfeed at 11.30 up at 4.30 down by 5 and up for the day at 8.30 so I am really pleased. :happydance:

Also she is happy to lay and play now.

How is everyone doing on routines, we don't really have one. Izzie puts herself to sleep around 9-9.30 where ever we are if she is changed for bed or not. So I don't really know what I need to do. Any advice would be great.

Finally last thing and I will stop writing rubbish, we have smiles!!!!! Feel like I have been waiting forever for them! :cloud9:

Sorry about that ladies im just sooo freaking happy right now. its now 9:30am and last night WAS AMAZING!!!!!! NO SCREAMING AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:happydance::happydance::happydance::happydance::cloud9::cloud9::cloud9::cloud9:

Im not sure if its the fact that ive not drank milk in 3 days or that ive been feeding in an upright position since 6pm last night and keeping him sitting up for 30 minutes after feeds (dr said it could be silent reflux) but he was a totally different baby last night. He slept and was awake with no screaming and only cried for feeds every 3 hours. It was fantastic. I just hope this continues every night now.

Sorry you all had crappy nights with no sleeping babies but i feel great today!!!!!!

Fantastic news Laura!!!

Phoebe's been a right grizzlebot today :( Managed to settle her so I could wash my hair (2 daughters + my dodgy water system = no hot water in the evening or morning :growlmad:) and just got shampooing when she started wailing :( At least my hair's clean I guess!

Great news Laura!! So pleased for you!

Last night was the worst night we have had yet. I feel so crappy today. I just need sleep.

Hey ladies! Another quick Hello from me! Still busy busy and lil Holly is like the queen in residence with everyone visitng her!

Good to see you Ipretti & Tracy, hope u r both feeling ok.

Am going out for my first night out in about a year tonight, god knows what state I'll be in - think it will only take one drink!! Anyway think I should get a bath and start to get ready...and try not to fall asleep! I dont do late nights anymore - red bull it is!! :hugs: everyone!

good news all round then!! Enjoy your night Lisa x

Ive stopped bleeding! Woohoo!!!

Joe asleep in his crib!! Woohoo!!!

well can you believe that after a crappy day yesterday Joe has decided to sleep the morning away, only waking for a feed then straight back to sleep! Its bliss, so quiet!

Same here! Awful day yesterday... it actually turned into a great night! She slept 3 hour stretches... which has NEVER happened (it's always been 2 hours, and then every hour! ) actually its noon here in the states and she's STILL sleeping :happydance: I wonder what the day has in store...... :baby:

Bad bad bad day!! Kieran will just not stop crying and won't sleep. He'll doze off for a few minutes and then wake himself up with a jolt and scream again. This had been going on since 9 this morning -almost 12 hours now!! He's normally had 3 naps by now and he still hadn't slept! Im at my wits end

We've had the same EXACT kind of day.... Sarai woke up around 10:30 and has YET to have a decent nap today... she's probably slept no more than 1 hour and a half throughout the day  poor thing is over tired and I just know it will be a rough night....I'm hoping she's so exhausted that she sleeps straight through! but.... thats wishful thinking. lol

OMW, I'm going crazy on this side too. Mackenzie is over tired. She hasn't been able to sleep for longer than 5 minutes since 4:30pm. It's now 8:50 and she's still unhappy. She's been drinking non stop and wanting to be rocked all the time. :(

I havent told you yet!!!!
After Joe was born the midwife came back in to see us as she requested that she would be my midwife again the next day (which was nice) She was lovely and talked about what happened etc, when she left we gave each other a hug and i said i would never forget her  Well I sent her a xmas card with my email address on it and after numerous emails and I added her on FB, we are meeting for coffee on Monday :happydance: bless, i wonder if i'll feel embarrassed seeing her again knowing what she's seen of me  :haha: peering into me saying " I dont think its your waters i think its urine" as i was pissing myself apparently... I still think it was my waters... Im really looking forward to seeing her

That's sweet, enjoy!

Avery has been grouchy all day and just doesn't want to eat. I'm having a hard time getting her to take 3 ounces per feeding, let alone the 4 she should be having. I wish she'd have a 6 week growth spurt and get hungry.

Fraggles I am super grateful to you tonight! Fearne has been feeding every hour this morning then afternoon gone 2-3 hours then soon as it's past 6 starts feeding, scratching and getting upset again. I only gave her one dose of the dentinox and she is laid in my arms asleep, calm as anything which is unheard of so far! I worried it would have to build up but the effects were instant! Bless you for suggesting it! X

Sarai won't take more than 3 oz of expressed milk either.. and she's 7 weeks old today! I'm pretty sure she's eating more when she's nursing though.... at least I hope so :nope: I wish my boobs came with ounce measurements on the side.. lol

:hugs: to all the tired mummies and grumpy babies!

Have a fab night out Lisa!

I go out end March (Caine's bday night) with 2 mates for out belated 30ths and cant wait :)

Diet has gone to pot today :nope:

I have a very grouchy baby today too, i woke up to him chatting away to himself in his crib at 8am and he was great all morning, except that he didnt have a sleep so hes been very overtired all afternoon and evening.

I got my car keys back on tuesday with it being 6 weeks since my section and I LOVE having my freedom back. I went to see my Auntie today, shes pregnant with her 5th baby so shes like my baby guru! haha.

I got OH in trouble tonight off his mum. oops. She was asking why we have our tea so late in the evenings, and i explained that it depended when Olly wanted to be fed and i would usually make tea after that so she said why doesnt one of you feed olly and the other cook tea, i couldnt lie to her so just said because OH doesnt feed Olly much and he wont cook tea, she was not impressed, OHs excuse was that he didnt feed him because its boring and he doesnt change his nappy because hes not very good at it. Im apparently a snitch now, but i dont really care because he needs to be told off someone else that hes lazy, and his mum is good at moaning at him. I do 97% of looking after Olly so he should really help out a bit more. Hes been off for a few days and spent the whole time on the xbox, hes back off to work tomorrow night, yay!! Hopefully Olly will be a good boy and i can catch up with all my saved programs on sky+

Glad u have your freedom back!

You are a nicer women than me for only getting him into trouble with his mum. My hubby does his half of everything he doesn't get an option if he didn't he would be starving and have no clean clothes! how do u feel about organising a day out and leaving him with the Olly? Perhaps with his mum too but her under strict instructions not to lift a finger then come home and demand tea. A sort of mummy strike. Bet he would realise how hard it is.

The sad thing is he will probably regret not doing more with Olly when he is bigger most men do :-( x

My hubby don't do much with Fearne. Find it a bit bizarre as he was amazing with Corey. She definately a more demanding baby and when he gets home from work he has Corey jumping all over him so I guess I see the reasons why. Plus he is bored by newborn stage. But like you say it's his loss!

Least he could do is cook for you tho emily! Too right ratting him out to his mum! Yay for tv to yourself! X

Best I don't say anything about partners!!! Still not talking to mine since Valentines day !

Sounds like he pee'd you off good and proper of you maintaining the silence 3 days on! I never manage that, I'm a bit forgetful first thing on a morning and Paul takes advantage of that!

Was Joe good last night? X

Oh I can hold a grudge for weeks!!! Mind you I have started texting him today. Joe has hospital appt and although im a bitch im not that much of one to not tell him things like that or how he got on, so i suppose the silence has broken!
Joe woke at 12,3 and 5.30, just had an amazing 2oz!!!!!! and gone back down again, how on earth does he manage on such small amounts??
Hope Fearne was good for you

Susie are you ok my love?? Saw your FB message, come on here and talk to us, we are all going through the same, and thats what we are here for :hugs:

Yay! had a better night last night! Bryce fed every three hours. :happydance: So happy to get some sleep as he has been a nightmare lately.

The real challenge now is trying to get him to sleep during the day with a screaming 2 year old! lol

I hope everybody else had a good night. xx
