Thanks for asking Lisa. I've been a lot better since yesterday. This morning was the first morning I haven't had to take any pain killers How are you feeling?

haha number 4!!!! I need to be sleeping in the same bed for starters.... I really do want another one though, im hoping its just my hormones and I will see sense in a few weeks... Nah I want to see if im ovulating, mind you it'll prob be too late and ill get AF in a couple of days

I'm so glad I didn't get any of those hormones #4? I thought you only had Joe and an older son? How is your son enjoying his new little brother?

I have a 19 year old daughter Rachel I had her when I was 17! and Mark who is 15. He has special needs and has taken his time to warm to Joe, he is quite protective over him but doesnt really show much interest in him, has held him once

Thanks to everyone who sent well wishes for Jennifer, I didn't take her to the Drs as when I properly checked under her arms last night it wasn't thrush, just a bit of cotton wool fluff Ooops.

I had my first "oh my god I love you so much moment today". I mean I loved her from the minute she was born but with the thrush, BF problems, wind issues and her very short sleep pattern it has been very stressful. Today however she properly rolled for the first time. She has done it beforw but wan't on a level surface so I didn't think it counted. Today she rolled from front to back, I re positioned her three times just to check it wasn't fluke I think rolling over is from back to front to be a milestone but hey I'm still excited

OH and I are using condoms due to breast feeding and the fact that hormone tablets (including the pill) mess up my bipolar. We have tried to dtd three times this week but all times it has been to painful and last night it made me bleed...not sure if we did something to my stitches or if it's scar tissue or the endometriosis coming back....any ideas? Do you reckon it's a Drs visit type question?

Well off to finish watch Desperate Housewives...think Jennifer isn't a fan as she is finally asleep

Ok Mummy types...how many packs of first size nappies you reckon I should get. I have one in my hospital bag and one in the drawer. Not sure how long they will last...

Susie, we've gone through about 90 nappies already and she's only 2 weeks old tomorrow and this size will fit her for a while still. HTH

Ok Mummy types...how many packs of first size nappies you reckon I should get. I have one in my hospital bag and one in the drawer. Not sure how long they will last...

Oh my goodness! it depends on how big your LO is and if you plan to ff or bf I suppose. Mine was born an average size and is a week old. She's in no danger of growing out of the newborn size any time soon. Also, she gets breast milk exclusively, which metabolizes more quickly so we're going through at least a dozen diapers a day.

Thanks for the well wishes ladies. My wound is not infected and apparently the oozing is normal kieran's appt went well. He is back to his birth weight which is right on target : happydance: my nipples are still so sore. I am beginning to think they will never get better. I had bad advice in the hospital and thAt is where the majority of damage wS done. Since then I have worked with nurses and our doula to get correct latches but still have no relief. It is agony when he initially latches but then okay afterwards. I just reAlly wNt to enjoy BFing.

Her Daddy was born with one too, and by exercise and a bit of speech therapy when he was younger, he's doing great.

No, it's not very severe. She barely has the 'heart shape' on the tip of her tongue. She can stick her tongue out about a half inch from her mouth, which for her size isn't bad. I'll try taking a picture some time.

Hi if you can get Lanisnoh cream over there I would highly recommend it. Also that toe curling feeling as baby latches vanishes after a while, I think as baby gets a bit bigger they naturally become more experienced at feeding. I found if you can get through to past the first growth spurt loving BF soon follows.

Well after trying to manage with my babies in different prams today I had enough walked into a shop and bought a double pram. Im in love with it and cant wait t give it a test drive. Not that I can push it until im healed.

Lovealittle one - definately used Lansinoh, i was sore for the first week but not now. With Caine it took a good 5 ish weeks for the soreness to settle tho and then I swear it was so easy after. Rub your milk on your boobs and that helps too. xx

Thanks ladies I do have that cream And have also been rubbing the milk on the gals! Hope the pain eases soon. I have been running around topless for too many days now to let them get air.
