January ladies WE ARE HAVING OUR BABIES NEXT MONTH

Back in hospital. My pin prick in my sac has got bigger and therfore I'm leaking and dilated to a 1. Hopefull enough fluid remians around LO for another few weeks :/ I had steroids and nefedipine last time I went into pre-term labour so not to much they can do this time :/ xx

Good luck, hope LO stays put a while longer x

I'm due 1/24 as well. From the US and 35 years old... Been through this twice before, too. Hope everyone keeps feeling well!

I'm due 24th Jan and so excited!! :happydance: Starting to feel very over whelmed and emotional when I think how close we are to meeting our baby :cloud9:

We share same due date and i am feeling so excited... The reality, that despite heart break in the past (we had 2 m/c's prior to this successful pregnancy), that we r meeting our lo soon is overwhelming. I wonder who'll she'll look like?! So glad we got to this point. I love being able to say that my baby is due next month!! Lol xxx:happydance:

Sorry to hear of your losses, we were ltttc for 2.5 years and were lucky to concieve our 1st IVF cycle so feels as though we have been waiting forever. Do you have a journal so I can follow you to the finish line? :happydance:

Yeah it did at first but after a while I just guessed it was my body preparing for what's to come, maybe it's different for u now as it's different pregnancy :flower:

your alittle ahead of me in weeks when did it start for you? Im thinking its normal im just freaking myself out haha

Hi I've been getting this alot too and have never experienced it before I've been really worried somethings wrong or I'm going to have baby early! Although I'm not glad you ladies are worrying too it's a relief to know youre experiencing the same makes it seem more normal now.:hugs:

Hi ladies! how is everyone today? Still cant believe that after christmas we are going to meet our LO's! Went out shopping today bought a few more baby bits.. baby bath seat, sterilser (half price :D ) more bottles and bibs... its all starting to seem real now my nursery is getting over crowded with baby items :haha: what has everyone got left to buy? I just got to get moses basket mattress and some sheets, think thats about it now :D although i fell inlove with a pink nursery border today (i opted for dado-rail instead) and now i want to buy the border too (and matching accessories of course) xx

Morning all, or afternoon..whever you are... so I had my shower yesterday, :cakeand that means next stop is baby town!!!!!! scary! it is Summer in New Zealand and starting to get sooo hot, windows open, fan going at night. sunburn etc.... lucky I get to have my baby next month before the really really bad heat kicks in... although I sure am going to miss surfing this year!

Thanks to all you ladies!! I am happy im not the only one that is feeling cramping. Such a relief. I keep thinking to i will go into labor early but i dont think so as dd was a week late. But we never know i guess. lol
Kat you are lucky its summer over there. I hate the snow and hate that my son has to be born in the snow. Im also scared about what the weather will be like when he is born. What happens if the electricity goes out from a tree falling or something haha i know that probably wont happen but you never know haha

I am glad it's not summer here :haha: I was raised in the Northern part of the US and love the snow. I am only worried about the snow and what if I go into labor during a snow storm (it's a 30-40 min in regular traffic).
Hopefully no trees fall and knock out your electricity. xx

Hi Duejan2012, just to let you know I was also worried about the cramping feeling plus I was having more braxton hicks about 4 an hour on Friday so went to the hospital to get it checked as I was starting to get concerned as pain is always a worry. They monitored my baby and said he was doing great and checked I wasn't dilated or had any infections and said not to worry about the cramping or braxton hicks and said some people just have more and it is just my body getting ready for labour and it doesn't necessarily mean I will go in to labour before my EDD.

So unless your pain gets really bad I think its all normal for this stage of our pregnancies :)

I do find drinking more water and resting reduces the braxton hicks, so I'm resting all of this week :)

xx

We have a really tropical summer here and then a really wintery winter so it is one extreme to the other, although the snow usually doesn't quite make it my doorstep, it did this year!! it really is a crazy thing, sitting in the window watching the snow fall into the ocean.

So I had my MW appointment this morning, all is good! I see the specialist next week about getting induced...then christmas..new years...and BABY!!!! WHOOOPA! I am sooo ready for this to be over! after a previous stillbirth at 41 weeks 6 days...this is the hard time for me.

I'm due Jan 19th but at my appointment today the doctor said the baby has already dropped and he wouldnt be suprised if the baby came around my 37-38th week.

Has anyone else dropped?

Kat im sorry about your still birth i cant imagine how hard that was. Is that the reason you might be getting induced?

Thank you :) and yes it is. I don't think my brain can cope with going that long again!

although the baby has been low down for a few weeks now and MW said today it may just come early on it's own, but that you can never really tell!

Just curious, how many of you have even considered the thought of your baby coming early? I will be induced on my dd if he's not here by then BUT until last week I hadn't even considered the idea of him coming early. A close friend of mine had her baby boy at 36 wks and 3 days and that scared the crap out of me! That means my baby could come at any time!!

Hurry up January...

Harvey had hiccups today hehe, 3 times. It was so funny to watch and feel, and the other day he had hiccups and I felt them in my bottom! Ahhh I can't wait to meet my little boy, so excited! xx

Had my 34 week MW yesterday afternoon. All along they have said my LO is head down and now apparantly they cant tell and think because my bump is extremely hard up top and I'm getting very bad heartburn and from the feel it LO may be breech. So if they still cant tell at 36 weeks I will be sent to a clininc for an exam and maybe a scan and then they will try and turn baby or book me for a c-section :(

Also have to have the GTT test as had 2++ glucose in urine, and should have had it done at 28 weeks but as MW put it I 'slipped through her net'.

Things arent going to plan at the moment...
