JSA then Maternity Allowance?

Does anyone know how long it takes to receive Maternity Allowance once it takes over from JSA at 29 weeks? Is it just a quick cross over or do you have to wait weeks for them to sort it all out? Thanks.

When I did it I filled in all te forms and sent then before and I pretty much got the money the same time my jsa would have been due x

Thanks for replying. Oh good i have already filled out the forms too. I just haven't received any JSA money yet and then i'm 29 weeks on Sunday so i'm wondering when i'm gonna get some money lol.
