Hahaha ladies don’t know why I had a giggle. Oooh those dates with peanut butter and choc are so good honestly. And been drinking the red raspberry leaf tea but sounds like you don’t need any of that @tdog lol
Why you having to have c section with this Bub? Sorry if you’ve said already

Hey has any one had a transverse baby? My last son was transverse a little bit so painful when went into labour as head was a little bit to side for a bit and didn’t care about the contractions but felt like some one was crushing one side of my pelvis bone… unless that’s just normal probably lol.
Anyways this one’s back is lying down blocking the exit…… head is pretty engaged in one hip and back in other hip lol

getting him manually moved next Friday 37+2 and then check him again at 38 weeks. Hoping for a natural. Still early enough just I guess.

Mine is currently oblique, he has been for last two appointments. I can always feel him right down inside my hip! Hopefully he gets his act together and gets his head down soon! We will see on Monday at my next MW appointment what he's up to!

@MumwithPCOS - Hello, welcome to the chat. My twins stayed transverse and had got stuck years ago which ended in a section.
The ECV is uncomfortable. Have you looked into Moxibustion in case the ECV doesn’t work?

My babies always seem to be breech. My firstborn was breech, my twins were transverse, my last baby was a stubborn breech until 37 weeks and this baby has been breech from the get-go.

That’s funny because my strength worked against me. My body was so locked down and secure they couldnt even get a balloon catheter in after 2 doses of cervadel! I never dilated even 0.5cm. I was told that it was due to running the entire pregnancy. I ran 4 miles each day and by month 9 i dropped it down to 3 miles, stopping each mile to adjust my belly band. Doc said the running created such strength that nothing was able to kickstart labor!
My baby boy was 22.5” long at birth. He took up the place!! Im hoping this baby girl may be easier delivery.

Haha, yeah. I don’t run. :haha:

I barely have the energy to get up and out of bed, never mind going for a run.

I am just stating my experience and the fact the consultant and now physiotherapist have said my muscles work FOR me and not against. ;)

Thanks hun
Had never heard of moxibuston but looked it up so will see how it goes worth a try I guess. Yeah bit nervous about the ECV honestly looks like would cause contractions all day! Xxx

naw baby just wants to be closer to your heart I reckon <3 Hopefully this one turns for you. It’s honestly the most worrying thing about birth the pain is all good if only we didn’t have to worry about complications! Pretty lucky these days tho with all the options.

@MumwithPCOS because they say I have low lying placenta.

Ladies on way to hospital I've woke poring with blood and think I've lost mucus plug when was on loo as I felt something come out  I'm scared so so scared right now xx

Oh gosh @tdog, sending lots of love and positive vibes your way. You’re at least in the best place. Xx

@tdog I hope everything is OK hun. Praying baby will stay in for a bit longer <3

@tdog I just happened to read here (haven't been following so far) and I am thinking of you and praying for you that your baby will arrive safely and healthy, whenever it has to arrive. Sending you huge hugs. <3

Is anyone else harvesting and collecting colostrum? I’ve got just less than 1ml on my first kind of try.

I usually leak during the pregnancy but I’m not leaking this go-around, I just thought I’d squeeze between my thumb and middle finger and a bit came out, then a bit more so I’ve saved it. It’s now in the freezer and dated. <3

I don’t plan to harvest anymore until I hit 36/37 weeks.

Disclaimer: Always check with your doctor whether it’s safe for you to collect it and NEVER use a pump as this could cause contractions and pre-term Labour.
